Guru is like a window

Baba ji said in a recording a few months ago that we can't go to parbrahm without thinking of our satguru first.  That if we see parbrahm ji on one side and our guru on the other, then make sure we go and bow to the guru first.    But then recently baba ji sent the message  to everyone not to think of their name or their picture or do Dandauth to their physical body anymore.   They said "pray to the light."     It can get confusing, how do we think of our guru but not think of them?       Yesterday we got our answer. The glorious sun was shining through an upper window.     The glass is the guru  in the dark room of the mind. The light is parbrahm. So baba ji is telling us to focus on the light and not on the glass or the window frame.     But without the window (guru)  there is no light (par braham.)

And even more simple,  the shabad Satnaam is the window/guru   thru which light manifests inside us.

Shabad is guru. Sat is the guru. 

Butter mountain

We also know our mind plays tricks.   Baba ji said that we are climbing a butter mountain and until we are stable at the peak we will slip back all the time.   So when we know that we have to make our daily routine rock solid.   Even doing sangat and simran, we make time to listen to baba jis loving voice everyday. Just a few of their words are the benchmark and we see how far we are.  Today we were thinking we are getting another job, started desiring  it .   Listened to baba ji and they said just serve all, love all and want nothing in return,  then our service makes us nothing and truth can imbue us.    We listened  a few times until it really went in. And we noticed how our mind was resisting the divine wisdom.    Only when we see the resistance we realise we are in ego and wants. Ego repels truth.        We let it go,  do ardas for forgiveness.   Our ego fools us all the time.  We have to keep listening to gian and seeing how much difference there is between the guru's wisdom and our wisdom right now.  When we go to Sangat of baba ji and all blessed souls,  we accelerate, God feels close. Because baba jis gian is there and we have no wants.   Mind is in tune with God.   So when we are away we have to listen to recordings and do our simran with total daily discipline. Otherwise we will slip down the butter mountain very easily.

Baba ji said that cancer is not bad,  see cancer as god calling you back home.

"Sadanhara simareeaa nanak se deh avaan.
Do simran of the One who is calling you, that day is coming. "  Baba nanak ji.

Baba nanak ji says that no dukh (suffering ) is bad,  that dukh and Bukh (hunger) are gifts from God. 

"Ketia dukh bukh sad maar
eh bhi daat teree datar.
Many are in constant pain and hunger, 
even th is is your gift Lord."

Why? Because in hard times if we look to God, then the journey of our soul home begins. And conversely, when we ask for comforts, sukh, it becomes a disease because God is forgotten.

"Dukh daru sukh rog bhayaa
Ja sukh tam na hoi.
Suffering is the remedy,
Comforts had become a disease
In comforts God was forgotten. "
.. Baba nanak ji.

Until we look at dukh in the same way as baba ji and gurbani, we have to work on our faults. Not find faults in our Guru when we get dukh and lose our sukh.

Most Indian people we see first go to gurdwaras and then failing that go to sants to get their wants fulfilled,  for sukh.    When they hear a sant can change your destiny, they  think it means they can get what they  want from him or her.   It actually means when you give up wants and do bhagti then God changes your maya destiny to being with God destiny and He takes care of  you through all the ups and downs of your life as per your karma.

When people hear that whatever a sant says comes true, they try and make the sant say what they want.    People in wants have brought their guru into maya when they do that. At the religious places are just full of prayers for sukh, wants,  but no prayer for Naam, seva and bandagi.

But the guru will only give you blessings and wisdom to get out of maya.   This is why baba ji says once you have Naam don't desire anything else. Because even one unfulfilled want will keep you in maya. Gurbani says that Naam is the priceless diamond, nothing compares to it, so stop chasing after empty shells.

But when we are at a real hard time in our life,  eg bad health, bad finances, bad relationships, even knowing  this wisdom, we can start justifying asking guru and god for money, wife or health. We did the same once, but then your faith goes down when you make further losses. But baba ji told us, "if a little hard time is written for you, then just keep doing your simran,  and keep trying by honest means to solve your problem and ride it out. That's all." 

But instead of having faith in simran, we don't see a way out of our hard time . We think our hard time is going to last forever.  We lose faith in God guru, we think we have to chase our wants to make it better because guru has failed us.  That doing simran didn't work.    When we face these hard times then we will really know what we are like deep down.   It's easy to have faith  when everything is going well.  But what about when we lose our job, lose our health, lose our family?

At those times when our mind is fooling us we just think of dhan dhan Gurus, they  gave everything including their life for God. But our mind is crying for unfulfilled wants. This path is for givers,  give our life willingly to God otherwise death will take it painfully anyway. And mind only fooled us if we lost our faith in our guru for unfulfilled wants.

Losing faith  in God and guru many people then go to lesser God's or astrologers or psychics or other countless paths of healing,  new age secrets of getting want you want.  People around even go to the extent of doing  a deal with the devil,  or worshipping maya.    Baba ji said that "maya is a sweet poison that we take willingly."   So gurbani says that maya is loved by all but is the enemy of the sants.     Asking for any wants, is inviting maya in.  Better to say to God please kill my family,  burn my house,  cut my body into pieces, destroy my reputation,  but never let me lose your naam from my heart. And never let me ask for anything but your naam,  seva and bandagi.

Don't lose God's grace

There are many of you who are on the verge of losing the gurparsaad.

If you are not serious then obviously you are losing it.

It is your own self who decides wether  you will stay in grace or leave the grace, and not we or baba jee make this decision,  how can you stay in grace if you don't focus on your simran and surrender?

If you don't focus on your simran seva and surrender then you are yourself denying the grace and are slowly moving out of grace.

It is your own internal thing and not us who makes this decision, it is your own decision, not ours, it is your own destiny.

You have been given a chance to stay in grace by earning the and serving the grace based on your some really good karams in the past.

But if you don't serve the grace then who is kicking you out of the grace, it is only you yourself who is kicking you out of the grace.

If you serve the grace then the level of grace keeps on going higher and deeper, but if you ignore the grace and leave it on the back burner then obviously you lose the grace.

So please start serving the grace if you are not doing so, and if you are doing so please go more and more in to it by serving it more and more.

Stop looking for worldly things and start praying for Naam, bandgi and seva. Start serving the grace with devotion trust and love. Then only you can save the grace, otherwise you are bound to lose for sure.

And if you lose the grace then who knows when you will be blessed with the grace again, 1000 years ? 2000 years ? 10,000 years ?

For countless lifetimes I have been separated, but in this life my destiny was written for you Lord..... Bhagat Ravi dass ji.

So please make good of your this human life.

You have been very fortunate to be blessed with this grace, don't lose it, serve it earn it and live it.

Take your bandgi seriously.

Take your simran seriously.

Take your seva seriously.

Take your surrender seriously.

Seva is important because without seva your ego will not go away completely.

Those who are not doing any seva should find some seva to do.

If you make attachment your guru you will be crying for relationships, if you make anger your guru you will fill with hatred, and if you make ego and pride your guru, you become a competitor of God, saying I did it,  I am someone, me and my life.   Only sat, Truth, is the guru, the one who takes you back into the light. All other five demon gurus take us into hell pit of the mind.

So choose your guru carefully,  for they will lead you to where they are from.   If you  make greed demon into your guru it will lead you into the fmoney pit.  If you make lust demon into your guru it will lead you into the  company of people obsessed with sex.    But if you make Satnaam into your guru it will lead you into the infinite love and light , happiness and eternal peace.

Don't lose your guru. Never know how many lifetimes you will have to wait to find another one.

He saw his guru Satnaam in the air, pavan guru, he saw his father Satnaam in the water, pani pita and he saw his mother Satnaam in the earth.   He saw the whole creation spinning and singing in the worship of the Creator.

Don't let the mind fool you, never give up

We wasted many years giving up on simran. Because we would try and fail. Then our mind would think what is the point of doing simran when God doesn't come to us  but does for others.  Then we would be in thoughts of being a failure.  Once we were so low so we really believed we are rubbish at doing simran, it's time to finally accept we are hopeless at this and go and do something else we can succeed at and not feel like a failure all the time.    Thankfully we didn't give up and are still here.   But we realise now that all that time we spent thinking we are a failure was just our mind fooling us. So we would stop.    Now we just do simran without fail, don't listen to the foolish mind.  Just say "Baba ji we can't do bhagti, please you come and do it." Then just start saying Satnaam without thinking of achieving something.  And even if nothing happened, or seemed to happen, trust that guru is doing it all for the best. "Just keep doing Satnaam," baba ji said, "when you get tired of sitting, stand, when get tired of standing, walk, when you get tired of singing Satnaam, chant, or go quiet, just keep doing Satnaam day and night."

Love demands sacrifice

All of us under baba ji have sat Gurparshad means grace upon us. Under the grace we have to make efforts and go to sat embrace. We cannot go in embrace without doing sat simran.  Embrace demands total surrender.

We have to throw away bundle of laziness(AALAS DI PANDD) under the sat Gurparshad. In bandagi laziness have no room. Satnaam ji.

Laziness will leave us by earning sat bachans of sat gurus sat pita ji satnaam ji.

We confess but we don't earn sat bachans of sat gurus sat pita ji in our actions. Without earning  sat in our actions we can't become warrior of sat sat sat sat sat sat sat sat sat jio

WITHOUT VISA AND PASSPORT WE CAN ENTER INTO OTHER COUNTRIES
WITHOUT FULFILL ALL REQUIREMENTS WE CAN NOT BECOME CITIZENS of other countries.  How we can become SACHKHAND vassi without earning sat bachans of sat gurus sat pita ji. Sat simran sat sewa is our passport and visa and sat deeds are the requirements.  Satnaam ji

At work place we have to follow the rules of employer and in bandagi we have to follow the rules of sat. 

In maya someone say take one step we try to take many for worldly comfort for bandagi we just slack back.  In bandagi we will get sda sukh. WORLDLY RELATIONS AND WORDLY THINGS CAN GIVE US TEMPORARY MIND RELIEF NOT MAKE US CONTENT FOREVER.

SDA SUKH MEANS OUT FROM DEATH AND BIRTH CYCLE. STAYING ATTACHED WITH WORLDLY RELATIONS AND WORDLY THINGS WE WILL STAY IN THE CYCLE OF DEATH AND BIRTH.

We are writing our own destiny by our own deeds.

Heaven is worse than hell

"Worse than HELL is HEAVEN because for comforts you cheat and lie and pray to lesser God's and even your guru. They give it to you and steal some of your bhagti.  They rob you and keep you under them. You have to defeat maya." Baba ji

Mind's job is to keep you stuck in past and future

Baba ji: "remember nothing of the past. stop your mind going into the past, teach it Satnaam.  And worry not about tomorrow. Stop your mind worrying about the future.  Worry is there when you think I do it.  So under grace say I am not capable of doing it, I am nothing, I do nothing. You are the doer. Under his grace, how can illusion(ego) say I did it? If grace is there don't say I did it. Mind is like a rock, crush it with Satnaam and make it like water."

No peace in praying for worldly comforts

Baba ji said, "the one who wants bhagti doesn't ask God for worldly  comforts.  Those comforts are only going to eat your bhagti away."

Baba ji said "until God interferes in your life and gives his grace you have no inner peace.   Even collecting all the worldly comforts there is no inner peace."

Why we get depressed

We don't accept sweet will of satnaam ji because we don't follow sat bachans of sat gurus sat pita ji. We have to earn sat bachans of sat gurus sat pita ji to earn greebi and satguru sat bani in actions TERA BHAANA MEETHA LAGAY, your will us sweet.

As well as accepting our current situation is as per our destiny,  we can also start praying to God to forgive us and bless us to practically solve our problems too.   So start doing simran  and make efforts to solve our problems instead of feeling helpless and giving up which only leads to despair.

Baba ji says what was written for us, our destiny,  was written by our own past deeds to be reaped now.    So if we didn't give donations in the past then not much money is going to come us now.  But not understanding that we look at others and in maya our mind also wants what others have.   Mind is a copy cat. Then we cry when our business failed or job went, and the opposite happened to what we dreamed.    

We all may want our close ones to have long lives,  but if only a few breaths were written for them, then if we keep crying for our loss, it's because we didn't accept what was written.  Nor can we bring them back. So we get trapped in the net of maya  - sadness, sorrow and death.      Better we stop listening to our mind logic, stop crying for maya and start accepting  whatever happened was as it was written for us . Instead of blaming God for our loss of maya and our pain,  blame our ego and desires,  "I wants", that is the root of all suffering.   

Only with God's grace we get this understanding,  we are able to accept whatever happens, and keep our mind absorbed in God's name, Satnaam.  In Satnaam our mind becomes supported and never collapses into sadness, sorrow and death. But in maya our mind wil always be crying.

Healing others but getting sick ourself

Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam ji  everyday we clean our glasses with a cloth. In the beginning it absorbed all the grease and made the lenses clean. Last few days it just left the grease on the lenses.    Then I had to clean the cloth in water with soap.    All worldly healers are the same, the may take some of our pain but take on the burden themself.   In the end they also need to go the infinite ocean of purity, sat jyot guru Satnaam to get cleaned up.   Baba ji said even a psychologist is trying to help patients on the maya side I. E under ego and mind,  but in the end needs a guru himself to clean him up.   Once on a meditation course we imagined seeing ourself in a mirror of the mind,  a doctor on the course said she saw all her patients illnesses on her own self. She broke down crying and left the class and never came back because it was too upsetting for her.   So we go into help others because we are compassionate, but a drowning man will also pull us into the water if we are not on firm ground.    So whenever we help others always first pray to sat jyot guru that I cannot heal anyone, but he can, he is is the infinite ocean of healing light that cleans all our sins but stay pure himself.   Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam

Who can we blame when it's all God doing it to Himself?

Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam ji whatever we are  angry about, or resent, or hate about what happened in our life; whatever it is that causes our mind to stay unbalanced, holding grudges, it's not worth it.   It happened, we can't change it, but we can change how we think about it.  We hold grudges or complain and blame because we think we are somehow punishing the other person or even God by withholding our friendship with them or love towards them.    It makes no difference to the other person, we only poison our own mind with the  negativity we won't let go of.   As long as we see us and them, me and the other, then overcome our pain by telling others what happened to us, get it off our mind, and then forgive and forget.   Or if we go even  beyond seeing me and the other as seperate, just see it God in them, God in us, all was just God doing it to God himself.     Then our ego suffers no more as it was just an illusion that it was me and the other .    "Kis nu kaheeaa nanaka sabh kish aapay aap.    What can be said (to blame any one else) when it was all Him Himself?"     This is dhan baba nanak ji's wisdom, no one can  understand or accept it without grace.     Gid bless all.

Today we realise our Satguru and Sat parbrahm ji are also the same.   We are such bad sinners, eaten by ego and pride, full of sexual desires, wants, jealousies and slander. Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam ji,  when we don't get loved but only attacked, we look for happiness elsewhere.   But rather than act upon it,  look inside at why we are so unhappy.    Confess it to the Lord, ask him to fill the hole in our heart, not another. When you do 2.5hrs everyday simran,  do all the ardas and be surrendered and determined, the demons cool down and these thoughts stop and heart opens lets love inside.  Longer we take to do what satguru said longer we suffer in turmoil.

You just have to get on the amritvela train everyday, the driver knows how to get you to destination.  You do your job the driver does his job.  Simple as that.

Blessings you already have,  earning it is in your hands, only you can do it.

Take it seriously like you would a job.  Sleep on time, get up on time, do the full time.

Only then dies your energy / amrit build up everyday and overflows. Then God can come. But stopping and starting we just waste the amrit and never take off.

It's not easy, we gave up so many times.   But in the end there is no easy way except to just do it and not give up and do humble ardas. Only by God's grace.

Re: Between you and God

Love God inside your heart. Spend time with Satnaam in your heart. Pray, sing and talk to him. Just like bhagats in gurbani did. Instead of always thinking we have to go to religious places or priests to talk to God for us. Once guru gives us graceful Naam we have to do simran then get direct connection to God inside our heart.

Today this fool went to watch sachpreet game there were kids people call them handicapped. This fool was watching they have more strength than us. We get little pain in our lives we scream and complain alot. One little boy have no vision from both eyes and he was doing jump and other boy don't have both feet wearing plastic shoes and jumping and they had charming faces. We say we can't not do bandagi it is hard only our mind making stories. Better we learn from these boys what is the strength without even having vision or feet.

They don't have real feet and no vision but they have strength and living under the sweet will of satnaam ji.

Handicapped crippled are better and stronger than us.

We want to share something these pics reminded us Ji. During university we were walking to grocery store. There was a woman walking with a little girl may be around ten years old or less. As they got closer to us we noticed the little girls smile. It was the most beautiful smile. Pure innocence and coming deep from her heart. Most importantly this little girl just kept smiling the whole time. As she got even closer we realized that she was blind and it instantly crushed our heart. We wish we could go back and tell her her smile was the most beautiful we ever saw. This was about 10-12 years back and we still remember her smile.

satnaam ji just now at work there was a man who came in and was talking about his son. He has a wide array of health issues from kidney diseases and liver disease and so on...and is always in hospital. He is only about 5 or 6. He was telling fool how boy must have done something terrible in past life and this fool said that is ok because god gave him to you to take care of too. We said you had karma to balance with him and that god has something good in store for both of you.  Then boy came in and he was happy and smiling and joyful despite all of his illnesses. Children are closest to god. They are the most blessed 😍😍

Sister asked why God would do this, send people away from the sangat? 

  It's not God but our own ego that makes us turn our back on our soul.    The ones who confess their misdeeds and  come to God as beggars for forgiveness are taken back by God.    The ones in cleverness, think they are right, so God also turns his back to them.   This is the thing with all Sangat that is being told off,  we don't know what cleverness they  are doing inside under cover of ego. They can fool us but not God.    Only the ones who really love God would come back as beggars like baljit did.    None of the others have.  So it shows how deep there love was.   This is the thing people don't understand that even by sending us away God is doing it to show us something about our weaknesses about how much love we really had or not. Are we humble enough to change, confess,  come back as beggars? Only baljit contacted us and she was forgiven. None of the others have.

We have learned in life to see where someone stands through their actions, not their words.

God bless you. No one can fool baba ji.

We also got completely drained trying to save our past Sangat.    And they didn't listen to us, not baba ji nor dassan dass ji. We realise everyone thinks they are right.  Or they decide to stick with their family rather than their guru.  And over the years we saw they fave all got darkened faces, lost their innocence but baba ji still shines bright in love.  This time we have not tried contacting or saving anyone.  We pray for them all to get true wisdom. We know the real thirsty soul will come back, and only baljit did. It means all the others have got upset with baba ji.    So what kind of love was that?  Only baljit said, "I have nowhere else to go and no one else is mine."  only baljit focused on what mistakes she had made rather than trying to find faults in baba ji. 

All the others obviously had someone else or somewhere else to go.     Understand gurbani deeply, for the true devotee there is nowhere else to go, cmere satgura ma tujh bin avar na koi, my satguru o have no one but you, hum moorakh mugadh sarnagatee kar kirpa milay Har soi, I am a stupid fool, be kind and unite me with God."    We sing these lines, but when the tests come do our actions live those words?

Baba ji said that hypnosis is a good start to go deeper into the mind.  But dassan dass ji said it's also still on the maya side, because without grace hypnosis can't take you beyond the mind.   Just look at how many times you wrote "I"  and "my".   You wrote it like you are in control.    That's still the ego part talking.  So overcome that as well,  negate ego.  "I did nothing, nothing is mine, I am no one, I am an illusion, all is you,  tuhitu, all is by your grace on a fool like me."

So hypnosis is good to bypass the conscious mind into the subconscious and deeper states. But while there is I, me, mine, I did it, then mind is still there.   That's when grace has to take over, only Truth can take us beyond. This is a Gurparsaadi khel, game of God's grace.  When having tried all of our own efforts we fall in failure at God gurus feet and say save me, rakh leho kabeer gareeb.

See when grace happens and we love Satnaam then he takes us through all the stages you mentioned previously.   All those stages are just signs of him coming closer to us.    Our soul is light, amrit, divine music, feelings of love, bliss and so on.    But what happens is without grace people focus on trying to experience those things using techniques, yoga or chanting or hypnosis or meditations, reikhi etc,  but it's all driven by ego and desire "I want".   So baba nanak ji said jusy get rid of ego and desire, haumai and trishna. Die for the  love of Satnaam,to be with Satnaam, to not be even a moment without him, to be humble foot washer of the ones who love him and fill us with humbleness and kindness and selfless seva too.

In our experience when we knew nothing much about the inner workings, all we did was praise to God we will do your naam day and night u til we meet you or we die.   For three days we took off time from work and all we did was that under blessings of our sant at that time. And  all the inner things started happening by God's grace. He made us sit up, he made us do Dandauth for hours,  he made us sing and feel connected to the universe, he made us sing our heart out and pray from the depths of our soul. He made the kundalini experience happen, he came as divine e light he opened all our chakras.    See no techniques, first grace and love for him only. Then he did every thing.    Nowadays people have techniques and not many want to die for the love of Satnaam. So ego doesnt die.    Baba ji said that he ate the banana and left the banana skin for others to slip on.   Meaning the divine souls experienced grace and love of God because they  were in love and for that love their ego died.   That's the fruit.  But the followers (all religions)  just got lost in the stories, the writings,  the techniques and ceremonies and rituals, I. E they have slipped in the banana skin.

Is gurmantar the only way to stop your thoughts and to progress by being in hukham.

Me being a hypnothetapist, I find I can stop my thoughts and go very deep using my own hypnosis, then continue with sanaam simran doing sass sass.
Then the shabid is very loud and Amritrass is strong too.is their anything wrong in what I'm doing?
