Have a personal devotional relationship between you and God. Don't be dependent on anything and anyone less.
Read gurbani, they are the loving words between the Bhagat and God. Say Satnaam and that's between you and God. All other words are less.
In the end it's just about you and God. Everything else is just a distraction even deeds done in the name of God.
