To overcome wanting spiritual things but only getting frustrations, start doing selfless and heartfelt service (seva), do anything, "seva thoree mangan botha.... Seva is less, wants are many" says gurbani.
Pray to God and ask for seva and just go and do something, even if it's online get involved.
Otherwise your frustrations come because your ego is only thinking about its own salvation.
When you do seva your ego forgets about itself.
Without selfless, desire less, seva ego won't go.
