CAN WE CHANGE OUR DESTINY? OUR BHAAG?
YES WE CAN. . . . .
Once there was a sangat gathering at the times of Guru Gobind Singh ji.
And a lot of sangat came from far and near and most of the sangat was asking Guru Ji for worldly things one couple stood up and said Guru Ji we have such a big business but don't have no children to look after it and we need a son who can expand & run the business, Guru Gobind Singh Ji said start to donate to the poor people and you shall have a son and there for many people asked for a solution to their problems.
And one man sat at the back started to have shanka (doubts) towards the Guru
And Guru Gobind Singh ji knew exactly what was going through each and every person sat In the sangat
'Kat kat ke anter ji jaanat bhuley bhoorey ki peer pachanat'
So Guru ji made an announcement saying if there's anyone who has any shanka, (doubts) please come forward and ask otherwise it will only create more doubts and take you away from sangat.
Hearing this the man stood up and asked Guru ji,
'Guru ji these people are asking you for things and you are giving them, and if it's not in their DESTINY where are you giving it from??'
If it's already in their bhaag then what is the need to come here and ask you again??
I don't understand this!
Guru Gobind Singh ji said this is a good question and now you will answer it yourself Guru ji asked the sewadaars to bring in a pot ink, and some kora kagaz (plain paper) and asked that man to come forward in front of the sangat and Guru ji took off a ring from his hand and gave it to the man asking him
'can you read and tell me what is written on the ring'
the man looks at the ring turning it side to side, turning it upside down, turning it in every position to try and read what's written on it but cannot do so handing it back to the Guru confusingly and tells them I can't read it at all then Guru ji tells him
'now dip the ring into the Ink and print it on this paper'
The man dips the ring and stamps it on the paper
Guru Ji now asks him can you read what it says now?
The man can now read what the words say it's saying
'IKOMKAAR SATNAAM'
And saying that he falls onto Guru Gobind Singh Ji's feet
I'm sorry for even having doubts please forgive me Guru Ji please forgive me.
Guru ji said this is how you change your destiny 'bhaag'
When it's not written in your bhaag but when you:
COME TO A GURU
COME TO SANGAT
BOW your head down in front of your Guru and Guru Granth Sahib with pure humbleness your destiny starts to change and that is how you change your destiny and this will answer ALL THE ON COMING GENERATIONS.

Guru ji tells the sangat
NEVER let go of the charns of SATHGURU and if that means letting go of the sangat that is pulling you away from the Guru let it be, and NEVER let go of those who unite you to the Guru
'BINN BHAGAN SATHSANGAT NA LABHEY'
One of the sangat asks Guru we didn't understand exactly what you mean.
So Guru ji gives an example
Once a Scissors said in great Hankaar to the little needle
'Why is it that people look after you so much that they handle you with care and put you neetly in to the box, and handle me so roughly. That they throw me anywhere all over the place!
The needle says because your job is to cut things up in to TWO Pieces apart from one another and my job is to sew up two pieces together to ONE piece

NEVER ASK FOR MAAYA
ALWAYS ASK FOR BANDAGI, SIMRAN AND SEWA
Once a family of three who was very poor and was living in poverty, the man and his wife and his son.
Someone told them to do bandagi and they went into a forest and started to discuss amongest themselves 'which god or goddess shall we do Aradana for' and then the man said to his wife let's do aradhana for bhagvaan shiva because he get pleased quicker than the other gods and so they all sat down to do aradhana (bandagi) they were in the forest for a few days. Now after several days shiva the god appeared before them and as they sat in a line the lady sat there 1st and shiva asked what would you like and she started to think all of a sudden she saw a prince riding a horse go by and she said
'oh shiva may I become the most beatiful lady on earth, that no princess would be prettier than me'
Shiva said Katha Asth and granted her the wish then the prince who was riding the horse looked back and saw the lady then came back pulled her on to the horse saying I'm going to marry her.
Now it was turn for the man and as he was watching all this when shiva asked him what would you like?
The man said without thinking, oh shiva turn my wife's face in to an ugly pig.
Shiva said Katha Asth and whilst the prince was riding the horse with the lady her face turned in to a ugly looking pig and she started to snore like a pig when the prince saw that he threw the lady of his horse and rode off as fast as he could.
Now it was turn for the boy who was aslo watching all this when shiva asked what would you like the boy said
'oh shiva can you please turn my mum back the way she was in the 1st place'
Shiva said Katha Asth and then the lady's face turned back the way it was first.
The Family all 3 of them did bandagi and even got darshans but asked for maaya and ended up in the same position where they 1st started because they went for maaya (worldley things)
NEVER ask for maaya always ask for SIMRAN, SEVA, BANDAGI and the CHARNS OF THE SATHGURU and SATHSANGAT
