When you deny to accept that your own karma is responsible for the trouble you are in then you go in more pain.
When you accept that your own karma is responsible for the the trouble you are in then you wipe out the effect of the karma and go in peace as well as you are blessed with a solution to your problem.
Non acceptance means writing more painful karma.
Always keep in your mind that YOU ARE THE MASTER OF YOUR OWN DESTINY. (what we sow now we will reply later. What we are reaping now, we sowed previously.)

Satnaam ji it is absolutely true. Until a few years ago we were still blaming others and then the phrase came to our mind with your blessings "because of my karma I suffer, because of your kirpa I am healed." We started praying that everyday and went into peace. All your blessings ji.
When our mind is in pain it goes into blaming mode, the absolutely worst thing we can do is to start blaming our guru for our pain. Then there really is no hope if we believe our ego mind at that time. It's only real deep down faith that our satguru is poora, that our satguru is sada sada dyala, that saves us. Otherwise even having any tiny doubts about our satguru, our ego mind will take that one crack and shatter all of our faith.
At UK Sangat last year dassan dass ji maharaj, baba ji maharaj and sat mata ji were sitting next to each other infront of Sangat. Dassan dass ji said about them "we are a wall of Truth".
We remembered that when our tests came after that. When we get into pain and ego tries to blame the divine souls. They are the wall of Truth so its our mind that is wrong not them.
We know other sangat go through similar thoughts and doubts. It's only absolute faith in the wall of Truth that will allow us to overcome ego.
