Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam ji
If you feel negative, do more simran, if you get upset, do more simran, if you get frustrated with your lack of spritual progress, do more simran. If you get jealous of others enjoying samadhi, do more simran. If you blame the guru for not letting you hug him or phone him, do more simran. If you are lonely and looking for love and attention from others, do more simran. If you are sad and depressed with the way life turned out, do more simran.
If you want to be loved then love others, if you want a hug, hug others, if you want a job go and do seva of others, if you want money go and give daswandh, if you want peace then do more simran, if you want God, give your head, don't complain or blame, break ego's spine and fall at the feet of God in all, stop thinking about what guru said, and just start doing it without delay.
Whatever the mind says to stop you, do more simran, do more simran do more simran.
Khalsa so JO karay nit jang.
The pure one is the one who fights daily (with own ego).
... Bhai nand lal (poet of tenth guru).
It's your thoughts about your bad thoughts that are tormenting you. Don't have a desire to have no bad thoughts. Mind has to generate good, bad thoughts. It's a thought machine, it doesn't stop for most people. So you are fighting with the minds basic nature. Getting frustrated. Bad thought comes, it's OK, mind is doing its job, let it go, carry on doing simran. That's all. We do amritvela, then have negative thoughts if nothing happens (most days!) , before we used to listen to them and give up. Now we just carry on with doing more simran. That's all. Mind is doing its job generating thoughts, we do our job Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam. Baba ji maharaj said if we are negative for one hour, then do two hours of simran to counter it. It works. If we feel negative after amritvela, we do two hrs simran on the train and feel good by the end.
