Dealing with frustration at not meeting God

Guru arjun dev says with humbleness a and extreme love "you make effort(do simran)  God will fulfil it, you will see him in the company of the saints.   Repeat his name colours us,  he himself colours us in his love.  Hearing your name Lord, desire to se you Wells up inside me. Please be kind to this way insect, this is my only hope. O my mind repeat God's name.  O Lord shower your grace and reside in my heart (hirdha) , you your self please help me. "

Turn your frustrations of not yet seeing God  into gareebee ardas (humble prayers) .     We can only make effort to stand under the shower, God's grace is when he showers us.     That's in His hands.   We cant control that, all we can do is make effort to do what gurbani and dassan dass ji baba ji maharaj say, until there is no difference between what they say and what our mind says and does.

The very fact we get frustrated at the seeming lack of spiritual experiences, shows us ego is getting angry and complaining.

So actually our simran is working, Satnaam is showing us how much ego, anger, frustration, complaints  and jealousy we still have inside.

So when we get those feelings, turn it into singing gurbani ardas like the above.   Gurbani shows us the correct way to talk to God as a humble beggar, desperate dog at Satguru's feet.     

That's how we earn gareebee ves hirdha (humbleness/poverty (nothing is mine) of heart) .    Desperation is good, just turn it into positive to go into gurbani prayers rather than the negative of frustration.
