Serve the sangat as the body of the Guru

Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam ji baba ji said in one Katha that we have to do seva of Sangat,  see sangat as the body of the guru,  that's why baba ji calls it as sangat guru.    Then baba ji said that if we let the dishwasher clean up, then what was your seva?  Also we guess in the UK we have also got in the habit of using  disposable plates and cups...   Baba ji said when we wash up pray to God to clean us up as well.  That we must clean things in sangat ten times better than we do at home, that's how much love we need for sangat guru.   Also we remember dassan dass ji said that we should cook Langar with our own hands whilst doing Satnaam, rather than getting everything ready made. The said doing cooking, cleaning at home etc doesn't count as seva. Seva is of satguru, of Sangat guru, of poor and needy, seva requires sacrifice, to help others outisde of your family and religious groups, the see whole world as your sangat.  Break ego. Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam.

Satguru kee seva suful ha je ko karay chit laai. Seva of the satguru is successful if it's done with total dedication.

Which means even if we are lucky enough to do seva of Sangat guru or satguru ji, then unless it's from our heart it's still not going to be that beneficial for our soul.    When baba ji and dassan dass ji and dhan dhan sangat blessed our residence last summer.  Davinder cooked and served the food to satguru ji.  We knew it was more from her sense of respecting guests, rather than from serving satguru with love.   Baba ji knew too, they are Antarjami, they told us in the car, that what she sowed, satguru multiplies it and gives it back. So she served food for the guru's body. So they blessed her that she will never lack in food and needs for her physical body.   But as she had no done it with her heart, no spiritual rewards were coming back to her either.  Nothing multiplied is still nothing.   Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam ji God bless davinder. God bless us all to serve with true heart full of love for or satguru and  his body, the sangat.
