Because that still has ego inside it eg my family,my gurdwara, my sikh brothers and sisters. As long as there is ego in it it doesn't count as seva. Baba ji said you can't teach others, even children unless it's written, eg "I want to teach them but they don't want to learn." but that doesn't work if it's not written for the kid to learn. But put God first, "sache patshah how do you want me to teach?" When we are sick, do simran and take the sickness out of the mind. When we are scared take the word fear out of the mind. When we have to do something difficult, take the word difficult out of our mind. When we do Satnaam Satnaam we are taking negative thoughts like sick, fear, difficult out of our mind. Satnaam

Maharaj ji said that when we live Truthfully God saves us when are trouble. The one we are born from, saves his bhagat. That when little miracles happen all the time for a truthful bhagat. Because a bhagat takes Compassion and love to the extreme.

When baba jis house was attacked the mob ransacked the whole place but couldn't touch baba ji. baba ji said to God when the mob was outside, "sache patshah what do you want me to do?" then a sangat member came and took baba jis hand into the bathroom. The mob never opened that door, baba ji said God made them blind to that door. When the mob left, baba ji went outside and started laughing, "God you gave the house you destroyed the house." Baba ji never prosecuted those attackers even though the police insisted. Baba ji said the attackers souls will also be ransacked as they did to the house. No one escapes God's justice, law of karma. How? All punishments come as destined from God's court, then if deformity is written, then your thyroid will malfunction and body, brain all suffer. And the opposite is true, give your all to God and he'll give you everything. Like baba farid ji gave his eyeball for the love of his guru. And god have him a new eyeball. Even an eyeball is nothing for God. Be truthful, give everything to God. When we are sick, depressed we have tied knots in our psyche. How? Me and mine attitude, bad deeds, lying and creating others. So start untying by accepting each and every misdeeds we have done and confessing it.

When baba ji blesses water bottles in his holy hands , it's not just charging. It's by God's grace the Bhagat puts his whole heart and truth into the water. Then the one drinking it cools down their five thieves, it goes into every cell of their body, pani pita, water is the father. On drop can change another person. Same as one good word from you can change another persons life. So don't so anything bad to anyone, don't curse, you destroy others like that (especially parents words to children).

The one who sees beauty (satnaam) in others is beautiful inside. You will see God in yourself, then see yourself embedded in one and all, and you will ask God, "why do I see myself in everything?" and he will say he is everything and you and him are the same. So then don't try and become the master of the universe, universe itself is the master, master has great responsibilities, better to remain as humble servant of Truth, sat ram das. Only your truthful deeds are going to count, have you understood Truth within your mind, have you conquered your mind with that Truth? That's the only thing that's going to count.

Someone told baba ji he went to hemkund to see his guru. Baba ji the same guru granth sahib up the mountain is the same guru you have in your prayer rom at home. And the same message is inside, that the true guru, God, is inside you, not outside. Sabh ghar meh, bahur nahee. Your true friend is the one who joins you to God, all other friendships are just a marketplace of give and take.

Langar is not just food at the gurdwara, speak sweet gian and feed the Hunger of the seeker that is Langar. Goto a butcher's house and eat his meat dish, say Satnaam and that is Langar. Don't get into illusion just gurdwara food is sacred. That makes people think they are higher and purer than others. Langar is made anywhere with love, eaten with joy, both bow to each other. Neither has ego in doing seva, nor wants for food. We have eaten many Langar, real Langar is from the heart and doesn't need religious places. In some religious Langar is made and served with animal attitude, and eating it you go home with animal attitude. People aren't going to take this Katha the right way and are going to get offended again and slander.

Where there is no bharam, religious illusions, that is the real place of dharam (union). The whole world is full of poison, people are donkeys under five thieves. Say dhan dhan and you become dhan dhan.
