How God comes closer to you

Baba ji maharaj :

The spiritual journey happens in a parallel world.  As you are here, you get that over there. Truer you are here you go past the mind in your sunn samadhi and the light comes closer to you.   The body of light is Akal Purakh ,  mind was created, from the mind images and thoughts and desires. When you are humble enough and obedient then God likes you and he comes in different forms. Eg He comes s a red rose in your meditation when the the depth of your heart is pure enough. You become aware of the natural harmony,  that music is running in nature.

All the achievements in bhagti happen on the other side, in mansarovar, others can't see it.   That keeps you humble on this side. These experiences keep you going on this path. Don't hope for them,  keep doing your simran and god keeps coming closer to welcome you.   So you start  feeling like a new born child. What is  born? God and what dies? Ego.  Ego will complain that life has gone stale, the body maybe old, but God the child in your heart never ages. Heart knows it is never alone, just gets suppressed by the mind.  The one who lives in the illusion of the mind is always changing their looks,  never satisfied. The one who has God in their heart is truly content and doesn't care which way their looks and clothes are today.  You are trapped in the illusions of the mind, it has thousands of mirror like windows (each manmat)  and you have to shatter each illusion in your samadhi, then you see through the window to the other side.. Light.

Sickness

God is creator of all and is sitting in all, the enjoyer of pleasures, bhogi and also the rogi.. Experiencing the diseases too. And also he is beyond it all.  So don't worry about dukh, see it as sukh. This is called winning your sicknesses. 

The body is living by sucking on the cosmic breath, pavan guru. All lifeforms are living on this cosmic breath.  Don't let sickness stop you,  I never let even a fever of 105 stop me going to the gurdwara.  Don't let any physical thing stop you or slow you down. When you an the physical side then your mind think,  'uh oh he's winning', then facing your fears, the fears run away.  So what you can't do keep praying to God and say you are lowest of the lowest of the low,  and you will become higher and higher on the other side.  A time should come when the whole world slanders you and calls you worthless and useless.  Well baba nanak ji says the same that he is lowest too.

Even when you get sick instead of asking God to come and heal you (desire), I pray "sache patshah ji, I have given you everything now you come and live in this body as you want. If you want to live with a hundred diseases then fine."   I have completely let go of ego, all is surrendered to God.  Even going shops, I say to God, if you want me to buy it I'll buy it, otherwise not. I am not attached to it nor have any desire for it.  I don't pray for meagre things and body sickness is a meagre thing.
