Only doubts hold us back. Doubts in ourself being  able to do bhagti (like when we act in anger than hate ourself and think we are better off giving up as we will never change).  Only doubts in the guru(s)  God has sent us,  and doubts in what they have told us to do and doubts in the Naam they have given us and the gian they have given us.   Doubts take a very long time to overcome because it requires full surrender, like Panj pyare gave their heads, meant no doubts in their guru.  But gurbani says the one who kills their doubts (dubidha)  is the winner.

Took us five years to get over our doubts in baba ji.. Because we were programmed by our past beliefs and kept thinking we are turning against baba nanak ji.  But dassan dass ji told us to just repeat,  mera satguru poora five times when doubts come in.  Since learned the shabad.. Mun kyo bairag karega satguru mera poora and that's the only shabad we recited in the car or walking around for five years.   Now we hope we don't have any doubts in God or guru baba ji left (never know what tests come in future to test us) but we still have self doubts quite often that we don't know if we will make it in this life, our habits are too bad, we fall back into the filth, satgurus pull us out, we fall back,  will we ever go forward and merge in Parbhram again? We don't know how to balance work, home, family, health, money and do bhagti.  We give up again and again  but with satgurus kirpa we get up again.   Baba ji told us keep going even if it takes the rest of your life like baba farid ji aged 90 got God.

So keep saying,

DHAN DHAN MERA SATGURU POORA.

DHAN DHAN MERA SATGURU POORA.

DHAN DHAN DASSAN DASS MAHARAJ JI.

DHAN DHAN SAT PARBRAHAM BABA JI MAHARAJ JI.

DHAN DHAN  HAMARAY BHAAG(blessed blessed is my destiny (overcome self doubts, believe we have destiny to meet God now we have met our guru.)

Baba ji tells us again and again,  "BELIEVE."

So believe in God in the guru he sent us in the Naam they gave us and most of all believe in ourself that we are Bhagat, lover of God, doing bhagti, loving devotional worship.  And stop believing we are whatever we thought of ourself beforehand, or whatever label society or parents put on us eg loser, bitch, ugly, failure, smart, Prince, perfect, .. Etc
