We listened to dhan maharajs katha from last wwek in sangat today, maharaj said
Its our job to die for god, and its his job to save us.
Our mum told us a story of saint tulsi das when hrbwas taking some money to the bank , he saw the village head man sat worrying in a tree. The head man said, he had asked the priest how to meet god and the priest blessed him and said jump out of tree and ram will catch you. But the head man climbed but now couldnt jump.. tulsi dass ji said , lets swap, you give me the blessing and i will give u this money. The head man got relieved, climbed down took the money and ran. Tulsi dad climbed the tree, prayed and jumped and RAM (god) caught him.in spiritual arms.
That story inspired us all the time to trust gurbani and not to worry about maya (how will i live, marriage, job etc). Applies to us now as well.
Satguru ji, may we also jump into your arms and kick out our worries. Worries only stop us jumping. In ou 20s When we had no house, lived alone, no partner, not much money, we took many more risks and were prepared to die for god and thats how divine light came to us. But now in our 40s we have all those things and hold back on dying for god.
