we spoke to head mata ji, she loves preeti and jasmeen ji very much , but then when there is sangat from outside who start complaining about their kheda, or new sangat or even their parents , or other sangat who dont want their family memebers to get put off, then they all tell her to control the girls. She gets caught in the middle, she does not want to control, but society putting pressuer on her and she wants to protect the girls, makes it difficult, she asks parnbrham ji for forgiveness.
She said lot of new people want to join the sangat, but then they get bit shocked at kedha. We explained to penji that satnam parivaar will never be a big sangat. Because it is only for the ones who love naam, whereas most people only come to sangat of gurdwara or sants for their wants. Want pain to go, want marriage sorted, want job, want ghosts removed, want, want, want. And they come to sangat get peace, but when the tests come they leave and they are the ones who gossip, slander, and try to control it.
So this sangat is only for the ones who want to give head, body, mind, wealth, who want to GIVE everything back to God and want only naam, seva and bandagi, and that is very rare few. So just India sangat pls do your sangat at jagdeep jis house, you have alovely small group of people who love and understand each other. There is no need to invite others or to try and expland it or to go to other peoples houses to do sangat. Just do sangat for yourself and increase your love and pyaar and be free in a safe environment. People in india dont understand, and women are controlled alot anyway and expected to behave in a certain way, so outsiders are not going to understand preeti and jagdeep jis asan etc, or hugging, or dandauths. what we see as pure love, they see with worldly eyes.
in the uk we have about 10-15 people, just 3 or 4 families, and we meet once a week, and its just fine. if someone new comes now and again like rupy ji they are most welcome, but we are not advertising or chasing anyone, baba ji said its all per bhag anyway.
so thats what we would suggest to india sangat, keep it small and sweet, no need to fight/or explain/or try to please parents or society or other people.
and in normal life, treat parents aas guru, work honestly, help the family, help society, be useful, dont be lazy, dont use satnaam as an excuse not to work and serve society, that is ego as well.
What we learn in sangat, to serve each other, to be kind, to be humble, we have to apply that to our family life, and to our work life and to our community, make it all one - ik drisht.
