Your deeds were good , tryig to help others. You are sad because of attachment to husband and being unable to save him from maya.
Also you did not die..as you have naam, they do not, they still belong to maya, they have to live out their karma.
You have to save yourself first, then u can save others, actually god in you isnthe only saviour , ego has to get out of the way, ego cant savr anyone.
Dassan dass jis wife was ahead of him in bhagti when they first went to baba jis sangat. But when the tests came , wife and family left sangat, left simran, went back to nitnem and gurdwara. Dassan dass ji tried alot with them to save them, but then had a vision/dream in which him and wife were crossing a furious river , he made it but his wife only got halfway. So they took it as hukam. But since then dassan dass jis bandagi is complete, they have saved themself, crossed the river, and they ferry across the whole world, so they know how they will save their biological family.
