We look back and see youth of our time and especially now, no one seems to think sex before marriage is anything bad.  We always thought that it is very bad for us emotionally to have relationships which we put our heart into and (body too if we have sex) then go through a break up..

When you are single , it is not easy to control kaam, we used tp feel lonely and lust used to over power us, but instead of chasing women, we used to pray to god, "please you come and fill the hole in our heart,". And we used that dukh to make us do more simran amd bhaghti to find the true love - god, who will never break our heart.

Kaam is lust which is desire for sex.  We are all programmed to reproduce, to fight against this without gurparsaad is impossible.  Baba ji said there are two ways out of desire...either do as your guru says and give it up , or otherwise you have to do it so much until you see the hell of it for yourself and then never want to chase it again.  So for kaam,  for most people to give it up is impossible and so best way is get married and get it out of your system whilst doing satnaam, have kids, raise them well as dassan dass ji said and make something good come out of sex.
