Conversation Baba Ji and Preeto - Give Everything back to God (correct link this time!)

Ik Onkaar Satnaam SatGurParsaad.

Preeto.

The Guru Cuts Our Bonds

SatNaam

FROM FACEBOOK:

23 year old Balwinder Singh (Shrawan Kumar of 21st century) For more than 2 years, he is carrying his mother on his back, so that his blind mother can do "Char dhaam yatra"

FROM PREETO:

When you have a Guru, the Guru carries you on his back out of this world of darkness into the Light.
When you recite God's name - Truth, your guru pulls you into the Light within you. That is the inner pilgrimage to Truth.
Physical carrying and physical pilgrimages shows alot of courage and sacrifice,
but does not help you with your inner pilgrimage.

Our friend at work, she told me that in HongKong they cremate the dead.  But the ashes are kept in urns and the urns are kept at the oldest sons house
in a beautiful wooden wardrobe.  You open the door and see the urns of generations.  It is regarded as a great honour to be the one who looks after these ashes of ancestors.
Culture has made it into a great honour, but in reality it is just another burden of carrying the past on the head of the oldest son and he will pass onto his son.
In a few hundred yrs that wardrobe will be the size of a house with urns everywhere - what a burden,

She also told me that after her mother-in-law died, the monks made them do so many ritualistic ceremonies, for days on end.  Even they know her ghost will be hanging around,
so one week after the death, the family get together at the deceased's house, then prepare food for the ghost to return at midnight, then the oldest daughter has to go across the road and crawl
back to the house.   Showing she is still less than the mother-in-law.  Then the oldest son has to make a room in his house where her photo is put up and decorated, and his wife (y firend) has to light incnese everyday
..for the rest of her life.       We said to our firend, you have made her in to a god, you are worshipping ancestors instead of letting them go.   WHAT A BURDEN, and you will pass it on to your children if you dont break out of it.   But the culture is so strong she cannot break out of it without getting accused of not caring about the mother-in-law.

Every culture is promoting rituals and ceremonies based on waht they value, and in Indian and Chinese culture they value children respecting the parents - even after death, because in that way everyone remains under control of the elders, no one follows their heart, everyone just keeps the belief system alive.

Baba ji said if we do not break out of the illsusions we are trapped in due to our belief system (including our religous beliefs), then we have blown our chance in time and space, because we have stayed stuck in the mind, rather than living from our heart.

Without a Satguru no one breaks out

kaam krodh moh munn leena
bandhan kaat mukat gur keena
The mind is absorbed completely in lust, anger and family attachments,
the Guru cut these entanglements and set me free.
- Guru Arjun Dev ji.

BTW do not laugh at the indian man above carrying his mother, or the chinese culture of keeping ashes and making a shrine for the dead,  look inside at your own relgious beliefs and see what foolishness you yourself are following.

God Bless All

Chat With Penji - Have Such a Love For your Guru That nothing Can Break It

Preeto: satnam penji

Penji: satnaam jee

Penji: dandauth bandhna jee

Penji: i had my 1st vaja lesson on sunday

Penji: yeh i really enjoyed it

Preeto: good stick to it

Preeto: you'll be amazxed how much you learn even going once a week

Penji: yes we will really try with gurkirpa

Penji: the gyani who teaches is blind

Penji: but he comes all the way from east london on the tube

Preeto: gurbani says dont call the one who cant see blind, call the ones who are ignorant of god - blind.

Penji: yes true i was just amazed at how he just got on with his life

Penji: and took the tube etc

Penji: i am really excited for my next lesson

Preeto: do what you enjoy

Preeto: put your heart into it

Preeto: then your prayer is heard

Preeto: then it comes true for you

Penji: and for the first time i am enjoying it truely from the heart

Penji: when ur young u are forced to learn

Preeto: yes

Preeto: told my dad yesterday am plannng to go to see Baba ji

Preeto: he said "havent you left your Baba yet, like the others?"

Preeto: we smiled

Preeto: he carried on about Babas and their deras (centres) getting your money and live a lavish lifestyle off your hard work etc

Penji: oh really he said that

Preeto: we said our Sikh Gurus had Deras too in the beginning

Preeto: he said they were different, they were true, but there are fakes now

Preeto: we said there were "fakes" then too even in the Guru's own families who tired to fool the Sikhs, like Prithi Chand the son of the fourth Guru, preached against his own brother Guru Arjun Dev ji

Preeto: we said Baba ji and Dassan Dass ji earn their own money and live with their own families, they don't have any Dera, centre.

Preeto: We said that this Sangat is small

Preeto: everytime it grows, something happens and people leave

Penji: my mum also says these Babas are only after your money

Penji: like I care, are we gonna take this money with us?

Preeto: when people talk they actually are telling you their own state of mind

Preeto: they are telling us that MONEY is their guru

Preeto: but rather than pointing finger inside and realising it is their LOBH (greed) talking they point it outside and accuse others of being greedy!!!

Preeto: Dad said I know more than these Babas

Preeto: and dont need anyone

Preeto: should just stay at home and do my own simran

Preeto: he said everyone is just using MY children!! you are not clever like they are!!!

Penji: oh yeh my mums the same

Penji: you are too naive etc

Penji: people are really bad out there

Penji: keep away from all these people you should just go to the gurdwara etc

Preeto: again projecting their own fears on their children, instead of freeing their hearts

Penji: they say you have to be selfish etc to survive in this world

Preeto: when all is God, then who is good and who is bad?

Preeto: when all is God, then what is mine and what is yours?

Preeto: when all is God then who to blame for pain and suffering, when it is God experiencing it all himself

Preeto: only problem is that whilst we think I, ME, MINE, then all the problems come in

Preeto: even we realised the other day

Preeto: even our simran is NOT for me

Preeto: is not for ME getting spiritual rewards

Preeto: is not for MY peace of mind

Preeto: because even that is still selfish

Preeto: we said to Baba ji once, "thankyou so much for doing your Bhagti and bringing the Satnaam into this Dark world."

Preeto: Baba ji said, "we did it all for you."

Penji: awww

Penji: really

Preeto: That's why we do bandagi

Preeto: so we become nothing and Satnaam becomes everything in this world for the ones who are suffering

Preeto: we said to our Dad

Preeto: if HE has given us comforts

Preeto: if he has given us this heavenly life

Preeto: as opposed to the hell we see on TV news everyday

Preeto: then if we just stay inside our comfort zone, doing simran for ourself

Preeto: then this heaven will become hell for us too.

Preeto: And Dad said yes, and mentioned a few friends of his who suffered alot before they died even though they were religious

Preeto: we said when so many people are struggling with their minds

Preeto: if we can help someone through an email or the website

Preeto: to get through the same things we struggled with

Preeto: then what is wrong with that?   He knew we were right.

Preeto: Last time we saw Baba ji, we also mentioned our Dad says why are you doing this - i.e. you are getting used by these Babas.

Preeto: Baba ji said you should tell your dad, "I am drinking the poison of the suffering ones,  tell me are you helping anyone, is anyone else in the family helping anyone except their own family?"

Penji: wow

Penji: yes thats soooo true paji

Penji: we were talking about your dhan dhan seva yesterday as well

Penji: to our mama

Preeto: All our parents are crying about is the fact we are not keeping our wealth, time, energy for promotion of our family, or religious community,

Penji: yep

Penji: all parents want is for us to do well financially

Penji: status etc

Preeto: our guru wants us to do well as well

Preeto: satguru kee seva sfal ha

Preeto: seva of the satguru is the true success

Preeto: satguru tumaray kaaj savaraay

Preeto: satguru takes care of all your tasks

Preeto: doing well financially - plenty of people do well like that,  but completely empty inside

Penji: exactly

Preeto: we would rather be full inside and empty handed

Preeto: but satguru ji still keeps filling our hands out of his kindness

Preeto: then we just keep using that to serve others

Preeto: and he keeps giving

Preeto: and we keep sharing it

Penji: you are dhan dhan paji

Penji: your seva is dhan dhan

Preeto: so why do we need to worry?

Penji: jee

Preeto: somebody has made their family into their foundation

Preeto: somebody has made money their foundation

Preeto: somebody has made religious identity and rules their foundation

Preeto: somebody has made their job and career, or their looks and reputation their foundation

Preeto: in the end when those foundations collapse, when you lose your job, lose your reputation, lose your looks, lose your faith in your fellow religious community, then you lose your mind too

Preeto: they built their house on a false foundation

Penji: and have nervous breakdown

Penji: and become depressed

Preeto: sachaa naam mera adharo

Preeto: only the Truth Naam is my foundation, my support

Preeto: and that is why we hold onto satguru baba ji's feet in our heart

Preeto: so when dad says "havent you left that baba yet?"

Preeto: so how can we pull his feet out of our heart?

Preeto: we would have to cut our heart out as well

Preeto: and then we would die.  Right in th beginning we listened to our dad and left Baba ji, but we felt like the Light had just gone out inside us and we were back in the darkness without any hope.  We just cried and cried and realised our mistake and apologised to Baba ji.

Penji: wow

Preeto: some things can be mixed and separated again

Preeto: that was false love

Preeto: but we always pray for such a love

Preeto: that a drop has for the ocean when it merges once and for always

Preeto: and that same drop can never be taken out again

Penji: jee

Preeto: aasee preet karo munn meray

Preeto: ..have such a love o my mind

Preeto: have such a love

Preeto: ut pahar jano prabh neray

Preeto: know that God is with you at all times

Preeto: that baba ji's feet are in our heart every second

Preeto: SAT SAT SAT SAT

Penji: satnaam sada sada sat sat sat

Preeto: so no, we cant leave such a satguru who has done such a blessing upon us

Preeto: bhoolay marag jinay bathaaiaa

Preeto: aysaa gur vadbhaagee paaiaa

Preeto: the lost one, who was put on the right path (by the guru)

Preeto: such a guru only the greatly blessed find.

Penji: jee

Penji: very true

Penji: who takes us from the dark towards the light

Preeto: sabh ako dhan dhan dhan gur soi

Preeto: all say "blessed blessed blessed " is such a guru

Preeto: and baba ji said those who say DHAN DHAN become DHAN DHAN

Penji: dhan dhan babaji pita jee all the sants bhagats bramgyanis of all ages

Penji: past present and future

Penji: dandauth bandhna jee to all

Preeto: dhan dhan param jyot pooran prakash dhan dhan satparbrahm pita parmesar ji

Preeto: ik oankaar satnaam satgurparsaad

Preeto: ik oankaar satnaam satgurparsaad

Preeto: ik oankaar satnaam satgurparsaad

Preeto: please bless us with good thoughts and gurus wisdom

confession

Satnaam

great confession by this guy,  better late than never!!!

Baba ji always tells us that we must become "naked", means we have to look inside and get rid of all the junk we have accumulated.
Which means confess all the things we have done under the influence of five thieves.    This is ego's worst nightmare, to admit weaknesses
to ourself, and espcially infront of the public /sangat.

But until we do so, then we are not free of our past and will find it hard to go 100% forward.

God bless all.

Forget about any good experiences you had in meditation

SatNaam

please forget about any good experiences you had in meditation, ego can get proud of anything, then ego becomes a problem again.
Just say  "thankyou SatGuru ji for all your blessings and keep showing us what we need to work on, please show us all of our entanglements,
please bless us to earn all of the divine qualities."

Baba ji said to God "why do I need to go to another realm to see You, when I can see you here in every heart?"

Baba ji told us as well when he sensed that we are desiring for these experiences, "many people have seen God's palaces, even had union with God on the bed of their heart, but nevere defeated their ego, so when the tests came , they slandered their Guru.  So focus on defeating your five thieves especially ego which is the last to go (it even exists whilst having all these spiritual experiences)."

Another time Baba ji told us to say to Satnaam "You stay up there and I'll stay down here, in hell, and I'll just keep throwing up the drowning ones to you."

Also Baba ji says to God, "please keep me coming back again and again until every soul has been ferried across and then take me."  (Some divine Budhists also pray like this).

This is what we have leanred from Baba ji, that service right here, right now, on Earth wherever we are IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DEED we can do, because we have to defeat our ego right here right now and earn all of the divine qualities like humbleness, kindness, honesty and so on.  In fact, Dassan Dass ji has said that these qualities are the real super-powers of SatNaam, and we all have the seeds sown in our heart. But only by doing it, being kind, giving daswand, sharing with others, etc do we earn these qualities.

God Bless all.

Why Does This Keep Happening To Me?

SatNaam

one thing we noticed in our own life and that was that the same situations kept reoccurring, you know like when you think "why does this keep happening to me?"  Like I read a report the abused women end up with partners who abuse them again and again.  Or just attracting same kind of negative people again and again, or failing in businesses or relationships again and again.    In Gurbani it says that the slanderer of the Sant always fails half-way i.e. never completes anything...sant ka nindak udh beech te tootay.     So there is some karmic stuff that is causing us to suffer with failure again and again.  but rather than giving up hope and being stuck in a rut forever, there is always hope and that is to pray to Satguru ji for forgiveness for all of our past mistakes, known and unknown/  Then also to look inside and understand the simple thing to understand is that "nothing changes until we change".  We have to look inside at our own attitude to life, how the 5 thieves are running us, how we are slaves to Maya, how we deny the need for a Sant , how miserable we are  and then pray and make efforts to change, to really clean up inside.   That frees us from lower consciousness, which then also attracts lower consciousness people and situations.  As we do Satnaam our consciousness rises and the old negative friends/jobs/realtionships/attitude falls away and new more beautiful souls come into our life and good opportunities for growth and our tasks get completed successfully - satgur tumaray kaaj savaaray - satguru takes care of all your tasks.

SatNaam.

Know The Truth For Yourself

SatNaam, Dandauth Bandhna Ji

focus on knowing the Truth for yourself, from the inside.   If you dont know Truth for yourself, then all you have is other people's stories  which become your beliefs  and millions of people are just content with their beliefs and look no further.    Even on this path there is alot of things we believe - karma, past lives, reincarnation, heaven and hells -- even the existance of God.   For most people have not expereinced any of these things for themselves but are just believing them.  Yes, true our Gurus and Baba ji and Dassan dass ji have told us about them, about their own expereinces, so for them its the TRUTH,  but for everyone else its just a story a belief.   And beliefs are not going to get you very far.  Baba ji said once "I have eaten the banana and left the skin for others to trip on."  Which means he has expereinced God which is beyond words, but still told us as much as he can in words,  which then people believe or disbelive and get into arguments/fanaticism etc .   The greatest Guru will not just try and pump you up with beliefs and stories and their experiences of God,   the greatest Guru for you is the one who guides you to experience the same Truth they have within.

God Bless all.
