Guru's Lotus Feet/ Dealing With Betrayal

How to meditate on SatGuru Ji's Lotus feet

 

Devotee: Dassan Dass ji is my Pita ji.  He is the kindest ever

I love him with all my heart. I just open my heart to him now.  But, yesterday

I even told him I doubt him and he understands with so much love it maybe an email but i feel love and warmth.

 

Preeto (Harjit): its good you always tell what you feel.  Because that is basically doing a confession and then it is out in the open, doubts are removed, faith gets stronger and love comes in, so that is how you conquor the mind.

 

The email is just the trigger for us to focus on HIM, and when the connection is made through the mind, then Amrit flows into us from them.  And that is the love you feel and warmth.  Its amazing how it all works.  When we sit do do simran, we imagine them sitting infront of us, holding our hands and doing simran with us.  Naamjeevan ji once told us that if you have imagination and meditation, then you have everything.  Where the mind goes, the Amrit flows.  So take the mind to Satguru ji's feet, thats all it is.

 

Devotee: yes paji i will

 

Preeto: We were meditating on Dassan dass ji's feet in our hirdha last year when we resolved to totally surrender, doing simran with love, massaging his feet with love in our heart.  Then we went into samadhi and amrit expanded from our heart all around our body.  That's all gurbani asks us to do.  To love the lotus feet of the Guru.  Their Lotus Feet (Charan Kamal) are the doorway to God within us:

 

charan kamal sung lagee preet

bisar gaee sabh durmat reet

Munn tunn antar har har mant.

Nanak Bhagtan Ka ghar sada anand.

 

Loving the lotus feet,

all my bad and evil thoughts have been erased.

God's name resound in my mind and body.

Nanak: the saints house is in permanent joy.

 

Guru Arjun Dev Ji

 

Devotee: This is how i think i will start now.  Saying satnaam and just thinking of the word in my mind.

 

Preeto: That's a good stage, saying in the mind, its third stage (first stage is saying with the tongue, second is doing it with your breath) but the next stage is where the Bhagti account opens with God and that is when you do it with love from your Hirdha as explained above.

 

Devotee: aww ok

 

Preeto: So you are feeling the love now, and feeling faith in Pita ji, so keep going forward now.  It means your bhagti account has opened, your connection to your hirdha has been made thanks to Dassan Dass ji's look of grace upon you.  Your one email of love and unlocked infinite love within you.  It's all a journey within yourself - thats what Guru Nanak ji called the Nirmal Panth - Path to Become Pure Like God. Or Gurmukh Panth - inner path to become Gurmukh.  Or Khalsa Panth really means as well, the inner path to become Khalsa=Pure.  So simran in hirdha, plus love for Gurus lotus feet = progression on the inner path.

 

As simple as that!!

 

And as you feel more Amrit and love inside your hirdha, faith and love for Guru ji's feet just increases and increases, then it is unbreakable, and you become unshakable as well.  So when you get hit by worldy pain, or emotional shock you will still be standing strong at the end of it, maybe even laughing at everything, because you only see God playing in it all anyway!  His Divine Law of Karma playing out.  And then you laugh at Maya, that she cant pull you down ever again, even if everyone else like family and friends around you go down screaming and crying, swearing and slandering, you wont.  And that is called freedom from Maya, which is called Mukti from Maya, is called being Jiwan Mukat - liberated soul.

 

And Dassan Dass ji has told us all that is our destiny.  It is God's grace upon us to have this wisdom and the blessings from Satguru ji to achieve it.  You will even say to Maya, "come on then give me your best shot, the biggest test, the worst you can do."

 

And you will still laugh, because her tests will seem pathetic, because you are stable in SatNaam and in love with the Guru's feet.  And the  Gurus feet are anchored in Sach Khand, in Truth, so by holding onto them, we become anchored and stable in mind as well. 

 

Devotee: awww thank u soo much paji your words help me so much

 

 

 

Dealing With Betrayal

 

Preeto: Just remember what Baba Ji said to us, that no one out there is our enemy, only our five thieves are our enemy,

 

Hum nahee chunga buraa nahee koee

Pranvat nanak taray soi.

 

I am not good, no one is bad.

Praying like this Nanak is ferried across.

 

Guru Nanak Dev ji

 

Preeto: when you realise that everything around you, outside you is just a big story (KARMA is writing all the stories) then you forget the stories, dont get involved with them, or passionate about them, or upset by them, they are not important.  The only thing that is important in any situation is to ask yourself,

 

"how does this make me feel?"

 

"have I lost my peace?"

 

"which of the 5 thieves are running riot in me now?"

 

"how do I get back to peace?"

 

And then do ardas, start doing simran, cool down and come back to peace  and love in your hirdha for His lotus feet.  Come back to stability again :

 

Sacha naam mera adharo

Truth Name is my support

Devotee: I know paji but what thief is it when someone betrays u who u think was ur guru?

 

Preeto: have alook inside yourself and you tell me.  When we say, "someone betrayed me" then we know that 

 

ME = EGO

 

And its our ego part which says

 

"I am someone."

 

"I am worthy of respect"

 

Devotee: yes, and "to be treated as I have treated them."

 

Preeto: And ego hates it to be disrespected, to be disregarded, to be treated fairly is all that ego wants.  But, unfortunately, Karma may say otherwise, as  KARMA OVERULES EVERYTHING.

 

Devotee: yes.  I'm realising the hard way!

 

Preeto: so out goes what we want, what laws of the land want, what religious rules want from us, what our family wants from us.   So just imagine there was no ego.  Then if someone praised us, Gurbani says, all praise goes to God

and if someone slanders or betrays us then Gurbani says that God sees that as well. 

 

And we have no ego, so we dont get overexcited if somone praises us.  Nor do  we dont get devasted if we are betrayed.  But we just keep doing our simran, remaining anchored in TRUTH – SAT NAAM.  And we let God deal with people who come to us.  So if they are good to us we say to God, "please bless them a million times more."   And if they were bad to us, we still say, "God please bless them a million times more."

 

That's our only job in the world, Truth, Love and Compassion for EVERYONE - enemies and friends alike and we know that whatever they are sowing they will reap, they cant escape that.  Neither can we.  But just look at what we are sowing - Gving millions of blessings to friend and foe, means billions of blessings will come back to us.

 

That is the way through this minefield of maya that Baba ji has taught us!!!

 

So our job is to just keep wishing good, good and good for all others, no matter what they do.  Then ego cant get offended, anger cant arise, slandering wont come out of our mouth, violent and bad deeds wont be done by our hands.  And most of all peace of mind wont be lost.

 

Devotee: yes paji i will

 

Preeto: If they broke the law, we stay calm as above, but report to the police

If they were deceptive and cheated us even in the guise of a holy man, then they may escape the law of the land, but they cant escape God's justice system – LAW OF KARMA.

 

Devotee: yes

 

Preeto: Remember if they were deceptive, then really they only fooled themselves that God wasn't watching.  They only cheated their own soul from getting a place in God's lap.

 

Devotee: yes they did

 

Preeto: They only asked for their own soul to go back down into hell realms of mind, and actual hell realms in future births, so start at the bottom rung, animal life forms etc and work there way up again.

 

So when we know that we feel sorry for their soul, for being trapped by 5 thieves so much, that they only have punishments ahead of them now.

 

Devotee: yes

 

Preeto: so that is why we keep our compassion for their soul high and say "please God bless their soul a million times."  So they can be free of being the slave of the five thieves.

 

Devotee: oh ok

 

Preeto: That's how we stay out of letting their 5 thieves aggravate our five thieves, then bringing us down to their level of consciousness, and making bad karma for ourself and hence we will also have to face the consequences of what we did.

 

Devotee: yes

 

Preeto: so as they say in ardas, "mun neeva mat uchee" meaning keep our  mind the lowest, wisdom the highest.

 

Devotee: thank u paji

 

Preeto: thankyou.  Love and blessings, you are doing great.

 

Devotee: thank u paji.  Dust of your feet forever and ever.

Dont Lose Your Bhagti - NO MATTER WHAT!

Ik onkar SAT naam SAT gurparsaad.

SAT SAT SAT Tera Naam.

SAT SAT SAT Teri Bani.

 

Dandauth Bandhna Ji to you all.

 

We all face times when our faith is strongly shaken and at those times we can fall back down with a massive crash into lower consciousness.

After struggling for years to accumulate some Bhagti into our spiritual account, we can lose it in an instant. Like to make a haystack takes alot of effort, to burn it down takes one match.  In an instant we can lose all that spiritual labouring, lose all our faith, lose all our peace of mind, lose all the love and compassion in our heart.  And just fill with emptiness, darkness, slandering, complaints, hatred, mental turmoil, stubborness, hurt and pain, and vow never to go near Sants or religion or whatever hurt us again.

 

We have lost our Bhagti so many times over last 20 years.  But, now we have vowed inside ourself, that no matter what happens around us,

no matter if we lose our family, lose our health, lose our wealth, even lose our religion, even lose this sangat or lose our Sant, we can't lose our Bhagti.

We cant lose our peace of mind, we cant lose our inner balance, we cant lose Truth, Love and Compassion. We cant go back into darkness,

sorrow, broken hearted feelings, chasing wordly desires and ended up in mental turmoil.

 

We remember a few years ago we had a dream with Baba ji's blessings.  We were riding a cycle up a mountain and if that wasn't hard enough,

we were also kicking a ball up as we went.  When the ball rolled back down, we stopped it and kicked it further up and cycled to catch up.

We got quite high up the mountain, because when we looked back, the houses looked like ants.  But, then right infront of us was a huge

bodyguard type of guy blocking the path.   As the ball reached his feet, he swung his leg and kicked the ball over our head and all the way down the mountain.

 

We didn't get angry.  Just turned the bike around, and easily cycled down.  But, we returned kicking the ball up and iding at the same time.

This time when we approached the huge bodyguard, we kicked the ball forward toward him and looked him in the eye.  We said, "It doesn't matter

how many times he kicks the ball down, we will just keep going down to get it and return."

 

He smiled and stepped to the side and let us pass.

 

That ball is our Bhagti, the mountain is our inner mountain of consciousness.  Riding uphill is how hard we are working to earn the divine wisdom,

to give mind, body and wealth - everything to the Guru.   And going back downhill to lower consciousness is SO EASY, coming back up again is

very hard work.

 

On our spiritual journey we have lost our bhagti so many times, years have gone by before we managed to ride our way up again, only to lose it again

for another few years.  Reason being we never realised how precious Bhagti was, and ho wimportant it was to cherish it and hold onto it NO MATTER WHAT.

 

We let other factors become more important than Bhagti.  What factors are they?  Here are some ones we remember:

 

- worried what others think of us, when we first started doing Rahras we were in our room at University.  We remember a knowck at the door

from our friend, we quickly shoved the Gutka (prayer book) into the top draw to hide it, and answered the door like and never mentioned we pray.

 

- when we were going to Gurdwara, we got involved with groups - at first it was great to find young like minded people,

but then our relgious differences and politics got in the way and we got sick of it all, and went away from them and from making any further spiritual efforts.

 

- when we were so inspired by our first spritual mentor in Southall, we were ready to do anything for him like he was Guru Nanak ji and we were Bhai Lehna ji,

he helped us so much spiritually - even expereincing the Divine Light and merging into Dhan Baba Nanak ji's feet,

but in the end he borrowed alot of money but broke his promise to repay it.  SANT ONLY HAS HIS WORD.

SANT'S WORD IS EVEN HONOURED BY GOD - That's how precious it is.  We believed his word, he didn't.  That was his mistake,

but our mistake was we used that as an excuse to get angry, to think bad of him, and unfortunately decided we want nothing to do with religion

and so called spiritual people.  We went into maya, into chasing wordly comforts for the next 8 years. 

But our state of mind went into hell.  We couldnt' sit and meditate anymore, we were full of hatred

for some old uncle that abused alot of kids in our community growing up.  We felt like a failure in chasing worldy desires as well. 

Now and again we remembered how much peace and love we used to feel when doing bhagti, and couldn't believe where we had now

ended up. 

 

- Even coming onto this path, after a few months of building our faith and trust with Dassan Dass ji, we were constantly being pulled back by our

family and religious community , really being pulled back by wanting their approval.   So we found some excuse and slandered baba ji who we never

had even met but just read something about which we didnt like.  Our father and religious community were happy we were back.  But, we

inside couldnt stop crying.  Inside us the light at the end of the tunnel , the way out of our hell, just closed up again.  We felt like how

will we ever get out of this horrible place we are in?   So it was at that point we prayed to God, "we trust You, you sent us Baba ji,

we will follow, if we end up wasting this life, then YOU have to save us in next life, but we are NEVER leaving this again even if we lose our

family, lose our religious community's respect, NO MATTER WHAT."

 

We went to see Baba ji and personally apologised and prayed silently as we kissed his feet.

 

"firat firat prabh aayia pario tao sarnai.

Nanak kee prabh benti apanee bhagti laai.

romaing and wandering I have come to Your shelter,

Nanak's humble request is to keep me in doing Your Bhagti."

 

 

And we prayed, "Baba ji may we NEVER FALL BACK AGAIN."

 

And even after that next few years there were hard times due to our karma with family and sangat, and Namjeevan ji even phoned Baba ji

once and said "I am worried about Harjit" and Baba ji told her, "dont worry, Harjit can never fall back now."

 

And Pritam Anad Ji also told us a few times recently that no one can rob our Bhagti now.

 

Even now we went to See Baba ji and we asked Baba ji please forgive that old abuser in our community.

We even asked Dassan Dass ji please forgive our spiritual mentor, we dont want anything back from him due to karma,

We forgave them both years ago, just bless them as well.

 

So this is how when we get overwhelmed by something or someone, instead of going into slandering, hurt and hatred mode.

Just accept it was karma, forgive them, trust God will give them whatever they deserve due to Law of Karma. 

Come back to peace of mind ASAP and keep doing your bhagti.  Obviously if the spiritual mentor you love breaks your heart as happened to us,

then you will hate doing any bhagti as they got you started on it.  But, no,  keep doing your Bhagti, never stop NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.

bhagti is yours and yours alone, Bhagti goes with you, Bhagti gives you peace of mind, Bhagti keeps you out of hell state of mind.

Bhagti is loving devotional worship of God Himself, so never stop loving HIM not matter what happens.

 

All we wanted to say to Sangat ji is that no matter what happens around you, even if the person or spiritual mentor you love the dearest betrays you,

even if your whole family dies, even if you lose use of all your body,  NEVER LET ANYTHING OR ANYONE STEAL YOUR BHAGTI.

Always keep doing your bhagti as NUMBER ONE priority.

 

 

Dassan Dass ji has given us that in ardas, "bless me with naam, seva and bhagti."

While walking on the path of SAT and with gurparsaad getting blessed with darshans of these SAT roops from different religions and belief system it is very clear that GOD is beyond the so called man made religion and looks only at the heart of the bhagat, the love, the trust, the faith, the believe, the dedication, the devotion, the commitment, the surrender to the gur and guru which as dhan dhan satguru ji always says are qualities of infinite nature of infinite SAT Paarbraham himself.  So, please it is our humble benti to everyone who is reading this gurparsaadi writing that please come out of the shackles of the religions and rituals and see GOD as one and only one. And this one omnipresent GOD who is beyond religion, beyond caste, color or creed is SAT and only SAT.  This is what the first line (mool manter) or the first commandment of our dhan dhan guru granth sahib ji is for all of us.

With paar braham babaji, paarbraham dassan daas ji and paarbraham naamjeevan ji's kirpa we have been blessed with darshan's of guru Gobind Singh ji many times, its like he is always with us now. Amazing, isn't it, a mona with no-hairs or beard is getting blessed with the darshan of dhan dhan Guru Gobind singh ji maharaj. The answer is very simple Guru Gobind singh ji only looks at the heart, the love in the heart for the paar braham, for the guru, for the sat sangat for SAT. He is SAT and only looks at how much SAT is being saturated in the hirda in the form of qualities as mentioned above like the love, the trust, the faith, the believe, the dedication, the devotion, the commitment, the surrender to the gur and guru. The most important thing here is or the key here is GURPARSAAD, these qualities can saturate in the hirda of the bhagat by only SATGuru's GURPARSAAD. So, what we can do is only benti, ardaas, jodadi, pray, humble request at the SAT charans of SAT paarbraham pita parmeshwar ji and guru ji to bless us with this GURPARSAAD for the SAT to saturate in the hirda, the GURPARSAAD of SAT.

In one of the blessed visions Guru Gobind singh ji came in front of us and threw his sword towards us and started to teach us how to fight with the sword. There was a pure white ball of light between is when we were practicing the sword fight.  At the end we kissed his feet, he is like our true friend now, always there with us whenever we really need him.

Next time when we were blessed with his darshans and as per of Satguru ji's hukam, we did benti to him to give his blessed darshan to our father in-law ji who is a amritdhari sikh and to put him in the track of SAT.

The problem is we say guru granth sahib ji is our guru but we don't do what the guru says us to do, what the bani in the guru granth sahib say us to do. We only treat him as a guru by doing matha takena to him in the guru dwara, do chaur on him, only read and sing his bani. All this is only superficial, the real amrit is in obeying the commands of the guru granth sahib ji, which is by doing what the bani is telling us to do. Guru Granth Saheb ji – Jap Ji Saheb Ji says "Manne Ki Gat Kahi Na Jaai". 

When we told about the darshan and the sword fighting vision to dhan dhan paarbraham babaji and dhan dhan paarbraham dassan daas ji they gave us the following gyan.

They said the sword symbolizes the tongue here. He was teaching us to use our tongue to speak TRUTH, SAT and only SAT. Deliver SAT with utmost humbleness, by becoming charan dhool of the entire creation. He said SAT with humility will ultimately win. There may be situations were people around you will not agree to SAT but you have to always be humble. SAT with humbleness will win finally in the matter of time and space. He said to use the real sword fight only to help the weak and the downtrodden.

 

We also asked paarbraham babaji and paarbraham dassan daas ji that we are blessed with so many darshans of the guru's and saints but they never speak to us, what is the reason.

They said even darshan itself is complete in all senses. They said to do dandaut to them, kiss there feet, kiss the feet on the lower side/base and they will speak as and when needed as per hukam, keep doing your bhagati, expect for nothing, never ask for anything from anyone during these darshans. Why, because we already have everything, the highest thing SATNAAM, SAT.

 

This writing is all gurparsaad and it's only the Satguru in us that is writing this. Please enjoy this amrit drink of SAT from our SATGURU JI.

it is great you are reading and questioning the articles, that is how we lift our consciousness, by challenging our beliefs and discarding old ones for Truthful ones.

 

People are confused and in many illusions about God.  Gurbani tells the straight and simple Truth, but even people find that confusing or ifgnore what Gurbani says, and start following what the religion says.

 

Basically, there is religion and there is spirituality.  Gurbani is all about spirituality - the inner path to Truth.  Religion is all about externals eg, identitiy, being a political force, rules and rituals.   Frist 5 Gurus and all Bhagts followedonly a spiritual path - Gurbani.

Next 5 Guru jis made the religious identity for political reasons.  While they were alive, they guided souls as SANT (spirituality) first, and SIPAHEE (soldier) secondly.

 

However, in this day and age, after 300 years without a Brahmgiani at the head of the religion, all we have left is a big pot of confusion.  People think and promote that the external identity, the rules and rituals and the holy scriptures are spiritual and without them you cant reach God.  Then they twist Gurbani to fit in with this interpretation.  So they say in gurbani the word SANT actually means GRANTH.  And there are hundreds more twisted examples as well.

 

The net result is that the ordinary person just gets confused by these religious illusions.

 

So with BAba ji and Dassan Dass ji's blessings they have clarified again what is actually spirituality and what is not.

there is quite alot of divine wisdom about slandering here in the explanation of the 13th Astpadi of Sukhmani by Dassan Dass ji,

The basic answer is what Dassan Dass ji said to us when we slandered, "is there once place in the entire Universe whee God is not present?"  So whatever (eg I hate the rain!) or whomever you slander, is ultimately slandering God's Creation, His precious Creation.  The very God we are trying to please.  So that is why Dassan Dass ji has said to us not to slander anyone or anything AT ALL, just keep praising everyone and everything we see, but we need to see SatGuru in every heart.  It may be difficult in some circumstances, by Dalai Lama said what he does whenever he meets someone is to always try and find one good quality about them , something about them that is better than him.  Once he met someone and could find absolutely nothing better about him, no good quality at all, but then he had the breakthrough and thought, "he is great, he has more hair than me!"   By practising this kind of attitude to life and all whom we meet, we break out of the destructuve side of the mind.   If somene is doing bad deeds, then there is justice system of the Law of the Land, or utlimatel Laaw of Karma to deal with them for their bad deeds.  But from your point of view, you only need to remember that they have God;s Light - the Soul, in them too, and that part of them is worthy of highest respect.  So there is a saying, "the crime is bad, not the criminal".   Parents/older siblings/teachers have a great role to play when bringing up kids.  They need to realise ow powerful their words are to younger people.   If you keep calling someone stupid, one day they are going to get older and say "well they think I'm stupid anyway, so I might as well do some stupid things."  Our freind wasa counsellor at a prison. she asked all the prsioners in her group what kind of things their parents said to them when they were growing up, and they replied, "you're nothing but trouble,"  , "you're going to end up in prison like your dad,"  , "they should have thrown you out with the afterbirth"  and so on.  And look where thee people ended up - in prison , doing all the things that they were told they were.

 

So slandering is absolutely a negative deed.  If you think bad about others, then you will ruin your own mind in negativity, and you will destroy the other persons self-esteem if they look up to you.   Or you will end up in destroying your realtionship, because your partner will pick up the bad vibes from you all the time.  Dassan Dass ji always asks us to see God in everyone, actually gurbani asks us to see our Satguru in everyone, to love everyone as we love our satguru, and no matter how bad their deeds are, we can always love their soul part, because that is part of God.  And when even the seemingly worst criminal feels you are not hating him, and feels positive vibes from you, then LOVE can even melt the most stone hearted.  Lookat the story of Sajjan Tug, the murderer who was reformed by Dhan Guru Nanak.  So that is the power of doing SatNaam and finding the love and compassion iside yourself, then looking out at others with love and compassion too.  Gurbani says, that the diseased mind looks out at others and sees all as diseased.  When you slander others, or see bad in others, or criticse nature, or say insects and bugs or a piece of shit is disgusting, then it actually tells God in your heart, that your mind is disgusting, is diseased and is not yet ready for God to come and reside in it.  

 

This whole journey of the soul is to find your way through the maze of your mind and not worry about what others are doing or saying.  Dassan Dass ji said to us if we really want to slander, then do self-slander, meaning write our confessions on email of all the disgusting things about ourself.  The Truth about our ownself, how lustful we are, how egotistic we are, how much we do misdeeds in secret thinking no one will know - but God in our heart knows everything, so we cant fool him.  Only when He sees we are serious about doing bhagti, about being honest, about admitting how low in cosciousness we are, how determined we are now to reform, does he give us His Eternal Blessings - GurParsaad.

 

Whenever you find your mind criticising or judging others, just say "Hum nahee chunga buraa nahee koee. Pranvat nanak taray soee."  Meaning "I am not good, no one is bad.  Praying like this, Nanak is ferried across."   We said to some close Sikhs that were criticsing and slandering Baba ji, that you believe in Guru Granth Sahib Ji, you believe in Guru Nanak ji, so where does Gurbani give you the right to gossip and slander anyone, let alone a Sant?  Then those Sikhs went quiet.  But, others stuck out their chest more saying, but no, we have the right to tell the Truth, to protect others from being mislead."  But, they dont realise that unless you are Sant, you cant recognise another Sant (brahmgiani kee gat brahmmgiani janay), so what do they know about what is Truth or not, if they haven't realised Truth themself?   So until we become Brahmgiani, its better to only see Satguru ji in every heart (jejh jeh pekay teh teh hadorr, dhoor katho na jai - wherever I look I only see YOU - you never go far from me - Gurbani), trust that no bad deed will go unpunished according to karma, not to judge  or criticise anyone as being bad. "I am not good, no one is bad, praying like this I am ferried across."

 

And regarding your other point about a wandering mind, give up desires during the day says baba ji and your dreams will be pure.  Practise living without desires and without judging others, practise only seeing Satnaam Satguru in one and all and only asking for Dukh for yourself and Sukh for others.  Surrender mind, body and wealth to the Satguru that gave you Naam.   Do such an ardas that you are ready to die - "Satguru ji, now I am only going to do what you have told me to do, either I realise the Truth, or I die - its up to You."    There's a story of a saint.  A devotee came to him and said how do I get the vision of God?  And he grabbed the devotee's head and dunked it in the water trough.  The guy was spluttering and struggling, but the saint kept his head under.  Then when he let the devotee up, he asked him "how did you feel?". The devotee replied, "i felt like I was going to die without taking a breath."  The saint replied, "When you feel like that about God, you will have Darshan."

 

So what has Satguru ji asked us to do?  Get up at amritvela and do 2.5 hrs simran.  In the evening do another 1 hour of simran.  All day long keep no desires or wants in our mind and keep doing every activity with the atitude it is loving seva of our Satguru.   Keep confessing our misdeeds and asking for forgiveness.  Keep doing ardas all day long."

 

Do that and you will go into samadhi within a couple of days.  That was our expereince last year.  When we totally surrendered, then and only then did our mind come under control.  Otherwise it never does.
