me: although ego always comes back and listening to kirtan this morning made m realise why the gurus and bhagats are always asking for "KIRPA"

me: we would think they were the Gurus and bhagats, they were one with God, with the Divine Light, so why do they sing for "KIRPA"
shweta: this ego is major problem
10:28 me: yes , ego always comes back, and that is why Dassan Das ji and also the kirtan verses say we need to keep praying for Gurprasad,
always stay humble and keep talking to God-guru and ask for more naam, more seva and more bhagti
10:29 and as soon as we recognise ego or 5 thieves coming inside us, then right away put our hands together(mentally if not physically) and pray to god-guru that ego has come back and we dont want to live with it any more, not for a moment not for a minute not at all, please save us satguru ji

me: always and forever keep us as a servant, a slave of the whole creation,

its only a phase

me: i dont know about the future, and neither do you or any of us really
so there is no point thinking about what the future holds for us

only GOD knows everything
me: and also the past has gone, it cant be changed, whatever happened has happened and it was all as it had to be - HUKAM.
so no point dwelling in the past
about what could havebeen if things were different
past and future thoughts eat the mind away

all we have to do is to stay in the present
all we have to do is get through this moment truthfully

10:35 me: if we take care of the present, each moment, then the hours, days, weeks and months take care of themselves
then your whole life becomes truthful
then we go beyond suffering and pleasure
because we all have to reap our karma
10:36 so good and bad events will always happen in our lives
look at the lives of the gurus and even jesus , it wasnt easy
but the difference between the ones who have naam in their heart and the ones who dont, is that with naam our mind stays stable through all events
10:37 naam keeps our mind rooted in the divine light
then baba ji says that no matter what happens "ALL IS JOY"
because you only see god in everything
