REPEATING GOD'S NAME - Swami Amar Jyoti

REPEATING GOD'S NAME

There is a force behind what we call life: jivan shakti in Sanskrit. When this jivan shakti is used in the repetition of God's name or a mantra or an idea, your latent creative powers begin to flourish, which gives rise to joy, peace and wisdom.

We live not by physical age but by the age of the prana, the life force, which regulates breathing: inhalation and exhalation. Because of this, the age of the physical body is not important. If you can repeat the name of God with each breath, it means your life force is being totally utilized for God. And when that happens everything changes—whatever you call worries, sorrows, sufferings, imperfections or deficiencies are all being eradicated.

Thinking has become your habit, a part of your nature, so it goes on in spite of whatever else you are doing. In the same way, when repeating the name of God—whichever name is dear to you or a thought or an idea—in the beginning it will affect your outside activities.

That is incessant prayer, incessant repetition of God's name, incessant faith, incessant love, incessant devotion, incessant positivity—and it works wonders. Power, joy, peace, everything comes out of this. If we remember Him, He will let us know everything. The use of each breath for God gives rise to the topmost secret in us, the very center of creation, the Creator. It will give you a beautiful consciousness.

Positive comments From Spiritual People About the Killing Of Children In Conneticut

Sat Naam

Look for the helpers....

"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.' To this day, especially in times of 'disaster,' I remember my mother's words, and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers - so many caring people in this world." -- Mister Rogers

From Marianne Williamson:

Dear God,
We come to You with broken hearts,
surrendering the catastrophe that has occurred today in Connecticut.
We cannot comprehend the darkness that led to this,
or the suffering of those who have loved and lost.
They are both too big.
But in You, dear God, there are Answers we cannot surmise and Light we cannot summon by ourselves.
We present to you our brokenness, and the horror and pain of
those who grieve.
May those who died find joy in the immortal realms.
May those who mourn them be comforted in this hour of their agony.
And may our prayers and actions be guided by You, dear God,
to create a world where this occurs no more.
Amen

Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev

Slaughter at the school in the US. An affirmation that a lot more attention needs to be paid to individual human beings and raising of human consciousness. Unattended humans can be dangerous and disastrous. Our heartfelt condolences to the parents and teachers.

THE SICKNESS

Ik onkaar sat naam sat gurprasaad.

Your sickness is not cancer or a kidney stone,
nor is it your bad skin or weak bones.
Your disease is not your OCD or anxiety,
Nor is it the past abuse or future worries
No matter what is wrong emotionally or physically,
Your problems are due to your society,
The ones who are lost in me, me, me.
The ones who have not known the one true reality.

Your sickness is that you let yourself be deceived,
Because of your society you never ever truly believed
that you are GOD,
And not this mind and body,
Not these five thieves,
Not your nonsense dreams
Not a meaningless life,
YOU FORGOT THAT
YOU ARE GOD.

Take off the mask
Don't focus anymore on what you think is your sickness.
There is no more sickness
When you remember you are love, you are Truth.

'Wherever I look all I see are the sick,
Only my satguru is not sick.'

- Guru Arjun Dev.

Jump Into The Ocean

SatNaam

When you do seva by giving dashwand of time and money you help so many others too, just as other's seva brought the website to you.  That's how we keep helping others and in doing so God helps us within.  This seva of the website and sangat has kept us connected to our Guru ji's holy feet through their holy words, otherwise we drifted back into Maya so many times.

Its all upto you how much you jump into the ocean of Truth, love and compassion,  The more you surrender from within, the more God comes running to you.  Its only fear of the unknown, fear of past experiences, fear of what others say, fear of taking a chance and risking getting hurt, that stops us jumping.  But Baba ji said to us, "jump into this ocean and YOU wont drown, but stay in fear and you will drown."

God bless you.

Dealing with Past Hurts

Sat Naam Penji, dandauth bandhna ji

it is the nature of the mind to hold on to past hurts and to keep replaying them.  So then we either bury them in the back of our mind and try to stay busy in our life.  But when we sit down and lose our eyes, they are always just under the surface ready to rise up again.

We have had to deal with our own past hurts as well, so have others.

The simplest thing to understand is that your mind is just following this rule "YOU HURT ME, I HATE YOU".

The only cure for ANGER is forgiveness.

Dassan Dass ji teaches us that we all have  the super power of forgiveness in our heart.  It is a divine quality, a quality of SatNaam Himself that he has placed within us.  The more we exercise it, the bigger it gets within us.   All day long when those past hurts arise, just say "I forgive you.  God bless You."

It makes no difference to the other person if you hold grudges and hurts, it only destroys your own peace.  so forgiveness is actually for realising your mind from "YOU HURT ME, I HATE YOU" mentality.   It doesn't mean you have to meet with the other person, it doesn't mean what the other person did was right and somehow by forgiving them you are being weak or letting them get away with it.    You forgive them, it frees you from the past hurts.   But, it doesn;t free the other person from reaping what they have sown - everyone is under the law of KARMA, no one escapes God's Divine Law.  Nor do we wish bad for the other person, just that they have sown bad words with their tongue, or bad deeds , and they will reap accordingly.  So we forgive them and we ask god to bless them, because their beautiful soul is also trapped under the hell of their five thieves.  So we also pray for their soul to be free of their own five thieves.   That is execrcising another divine quality - COMPASSION.

The Dalai Lama escaped from tibet when the chinese invaded, his fellow monks were tortured for many years, one of them escaped and reached the Dalai Lama in India.  Dalai Lama asked him what the worst part of being imprisoned was?  He replied, "the worst time was when I almost lost my compassion for my torturer."

So on the divine path, the worst thing that can happen to us is if we lose these super powers from our heart by NOT execising them in daily life.  The worst part is not being insulted, tormented or even tortured by others.   For a spiritual person losing our reptuation, or our family , or our health, or wealth is not bad,  but losing TRUTH and TRUTH FUL QUALITIES from our heart is losing our connection to God.

Sit in your simran every morning and do the inner cleansing, recit "haumai nahee tuhee tu satnaam (no ego only You Satnaam)"  and first wash your Guru's feet and feel love for Satnaam, then wash feet of people you love/like/work with and feel love for Satnaam, then take that love and wash the feet of those who have hurt you until you only see the Satnaam (soul) in them as well.  Pls do it everyday for as long as it takes to eraase all the animosity within.  We have done this many, many times as well. It really works.

God bless you.
