Seva and simran

Satnaam ji Dandauth bandhna ji there is so much  emphasis on doing simran in this group, but not enough on doing seva.     Bin gun keeta bhagat na hoi... Without doing good deeds (seva)  there is no bhagti (devotion).      Some people get religious and then say, "what's the point of living in thus false world, better I died and went to God right now."     But doesn't work like that. If you don't realise God whilst alive, there is no God's realm waiting for you on the other side either.  Just rebirth.    We are here to do true seva in this false world and pay our dues, clear our karma.    Baba ji said that seva is on our doorstep, don't have to dream of going to poor countries etc.    There's so much seva to do in this sangat of satguru.  Satguru kee seva safal ha je ko karay chit laai. Seva of satguru is approved if done with the heart.      Without seva everyone is wanting to be with God, seva makes you selfless, no ego only then God, Satnaam, can come in.     Seva thoree mangan botha, seva is less, wants are many.        Look at baba ji maharaj s life,  all bhagti was done at gurdwara whilst doing seva.  Even now just doing seva of ferrying sangat, feeding us Langar of guru's s word... Langar gur shabad da.     Serve family as sangat, serve those around you, do work as seva, do something for others who are not your family, or work, or religion, break out of even that selfishness.. My family, my friends, my community.   Serve all as one.
