Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam ji
The Guru gives us a blessing, it's true in the moment. In that moment we came with love and devotion. God blesses us, what else would God do? Whatever we want, baba ji says God takes that form to come to us and serve us. If we don't keep up our level of love and devotion, then the blessings also dwindle away, and we just fall back into the pains according to our karma.
Baba ji said God loves us so much he will walk on his knees to give us what we want(even if it takes many lifetimes for it to come to us) . Even if that thing isn't wanting him.
But everything we deep down want (pleasure/sukh) and he blesses us with, also has at least one dukh( pain) tied to it. Because that dukh is going to burn us and make us look for God, the true thing.
The only way not to get burned is do our bhagti from the start, don't miss amrit vela, seva or sangat. That's all.
We get blessed with what we want, then we stop doing bhagti, in love with the gift. Then when the dukh comes, we blame the guru and god. Then baba ji said, the devotee stops seeing their guru as divine, and just another man. Then they think or say negative, because it's just a man, and they drift away.
But wants and not doing what the guru told us to do I. E. Naam simran, are the root cause. Ego fools us that are pain is due to the guru, it's due to our lack of surrender.
If we get what we want, we love our guru or religious place who gave it to us. But if w don't get what we want, then those unfulfilled wants make us blame and then lose our guru.
Everyone has deep down wants, to be loved, to have kids, to have a nice family life, for a job, for good health, for a long life, for happy families and friends.
Even now when our ego wants spiritual experiences or it wants God and doesn't get it, it gets negative, wants to hate everyone, blame everyone, gets pissed off with this path, gets jealous of others. But we know it's ego, not the real me, so we do ardas, sing praises, think of the guru's feet, thank them for what we do have, each breath, each drop of water, we go back to basics and start feeling love again. But it's a life long practise to catch the ego and keep turning it around. Our battle is with ego and the thoughts it gives us to break us from our Guru and seva and Sangat. Don't get fooled by ego and maya when they give us thoughts to break us from our Guru. This is a very big thing to understand, critical to overcoming the ego and maya. Without full faith in the guru, that even if they say day is night and night is day, or shake the tree and sweets will fall down as baba nanak ji said, that you believe them, more than you believe your own mind.
Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam ji we don't know anything, Satnaam
No one understands path of guru Chela in this world. Everyone lost in family, friends, their own dukh and sukh. Death is real, this story we are living is not. Satnaam.
Once We saw God's light, we felt his Infinite love and grace, we merged into baba nanak feet. It never has to happen again, baba ji said, but we must live for him after that. If we have even a glimpse of God, or a vision of the guru, then we are supposed to give up all other chase and die for that. If we don't then we pissed on the grace God did upon us said baba ji.
We go after wants, we go to a guru for wants, he gives us God, he gives us a piece of his heart (naam), he gives us what we want, just to see if we want him more than the gift. That's called test of our love, for him or for his gifts.
It's easy to tell the stories of Jesus on the cross and baba nanak ji walking into the river and so on, but what did we sacrifice for God? Anything? Even a tiny thing? Or still running in the chase, complaining about family, job, health, hopes and desires, same old same, complaints and blaming, even after getting grace of naam and guru and even experiencing something of God too.
The older we get, the less time we think is left, the more important God becomes and less important everything and everyone else is becoming. But when you are young, you think o there is plenty of time to do simran and seva and Sangat later on, right now I need to sort my things out. But things that need sorting out steal your whole life. So make time now, everyday.
Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam ji Dandauth bandhna ji.
