Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam ji even if we look at ourself, we took 8 years after meetings dassan dass ji before we committed to doing amritvela daily for 2.5hrs. And now we took two years before we looked for a new job after they told us. Looking back we were the one that suffered in the time we delayed. So that is what we have learned and wanted to share with everyone.
And the amount of time we delay shows how thick our ego is. Our ego is what resists following the guru's words.
We have to honour the satguru ji's words to us as top priority in our life. We must put them into practise. DON'T DELAY DO IT RIGHT AWAY. Maharaj ji asked roma ji last week to do kirtan, she said she wasn't prepared. Maharaj ji then said to her, "in that case go and wash the dishes, clean the shoes and the toilets." Roma ji left right away to do so. However, the next day when maharaj ji asked her if she did the seva. She replied she had done only the shoe seva. Maharaj ji told her, "what would happen to your soul if you had died last night and you had not earned the guru's words? You will have to be reborn to fulfil your promise." MAHARAJ ji also gave the example of a past Sangat when one lady offered 9000 dollars for donation to new house for sangat, other sangat gave the money they promised. She never did as she turned her back on her guru. Soon after she had a fall went into a coma and died. Tarlochan aunty requested maharaj ji to save her soul. They did so, but she has to be reborn in order to keep the promise she made infront if Sangat and satguru before she turned her back. So we must honour the words of the satguru and do it right away. We must keep our promise and we will be the ones who benefit and god helps.
