satnaam ji, there is an old book called "janam sakhis" life stories of baba nanak ji in punjabi. we never got around to reading it. It was supposed to be written by a devotee of baba nanak ji called bhai balla ji. We found recordings of all 156 stories in it on youtube.
when we first got "satnaam" from baba ji, we told our wife "did you know baba nanak ji used to do satnaam, that;s the real naam, not waheguru?" She said, "yes, i read that in janam sakhis."
