Be strong in your mind like this mighty tree,  be firm with deep roots in faith, stand still in satnaam no matter how much maya storm batters us.

The tree is strong because it knows what it is.  It is not complaining it can't move,  it is in one place not dreaming of being in another place.  People can chop it,  storms can batter it, but it knows it's place.  We have to make our mind like that,  we have Naam, we have guru,  this is what we are, we are not going back into maya.  We get battered when we forget we are Truth, and started comparing ourself to others in maya and wanting to be like them again.
