Do bhagti like an athlete

Satnaam ji, dandauth sada sada lay

Baba ji maharaj said we need to do bhaghti like an athlete.  Look at the focus they have for winning a gold medal , a coach, diet plan, cut out useless activities , disciplined, basically a one track mind.

Thats how baba ji maharaj wants us to do bhaghti, one track mind, if they can do it for a piece of tiny piece of yellow metal, cant we do it for creator of the whole world....

An athlete's joy last for a short while, wereas merging into our soul, satnaam, is forever sat chit anand.

The world celebrates athletes and has olympic stadiums , but no one can see our inner tirath, except satguru and we only please them, and in dargah we get a seat and all sants in dargah praise us when we arrive

Dar gurmukhaa noo sabas
..the gurmukhs get congratulated in gods court..darbar...

Determination is not through will power...ego power, if we say i will do bhagti..then that is ego and our routine never lasts long.  Then we feel bad all the time
Determination is there because the thirst for god doesnt leave us, the hubger for the true name, is always there....madho jal.kee pyaas na jaai. And sachay naam kee lagay bukh.

Like we are not determined to eat and drink everyday, but we just cant live without food.   So same with thirst and hunger for god, if we have that feeling inside then we can do bhagti.

mention this path as Olympic training ji. As when we started this path, the early morning Simran sessions etc we had to figure out how to explain this journey we would be embarking to our husband. This analogy was exactly what we used to describe this path of discipline, devotion etc. It really seemed to help him understand this journey and the sacrifices required the best that he can.

Then we realised, we too have to be focused and not give up just to keep others happy.
