Gurpreeto Ji can you tell a little history of Deepa to the sangat.
He has met us only three or may be four times only.
But last Dec when he met us in Chandigarh sangat he was drenched in Amrit.
Gur preeto:
Sat bachan ji, deepa ji is from our wife's village, only son. His parents lost 3 pregnancies before him and he was blessed to them by a sant.
When we went in 2005 he was 16 and had putka, he was into sant ranjit singh, wereas all other young people in the villages were into girls and drink/drugs etc.
He gave us sangat for two weeks and absorbed the gian like a thirsty puppy by our side.
He went with us to golden temple to meet dassan dass ji, and dassan dass ji placed his hand on deepas forehead standing on the marble aroubd the lake. And gave deepa bottke of amrit to drink.
,deepa ji said it felt like ants crawling in his thrid eye and forehead...amrit went in.
We came back in 2007, and again he gave us sangat for two weeks, we were rock bottom in our bhagti at the time, but he was thirsty soul looking at us for blessings, he had had no sangat , no internet , no downloads, no books, nothing but satnaam, for two yrs and was just about clinging on.
We started praying to satguru ji to bless him, to use us to help him, we placed hands on his head and he got intoxicated, we also started getting better as well. We went for long walks sharing gian, we sat for days doing simran, we went to the fields and saw everythibg as so beautful,but he grew up there and saw it as boring.
We showed him how to do ardas, how to breathe , how to connect to nature, and his eyes opened and he felt the beauty of what was always all around him.
We did sangat at hjs home with his parents, aunt, shera cousin, other locals, there was so much amrit, he was in asan sending amrit from his palms to all.
Every evening we went to his house for sangat. Really helped us,othetwise no sangat in the village.
However, he mentuoned a few times he wanted to go abroad, we said do your simran, but its a deep desire of young boys in villages.
Before we left we showed him how to stay connected to sangat, he loaded kirtan onto his phone, he called baba ji and we said listen to kirtan and do simran everyday and call baba ji once a week.
He used to call us often in uk when we got back. He would call from the fields just intoxicated in naam. Just praising satnaa. However, then his desire to abroad got stronger and he called to ask us to ask dassan dass ji about going to usa doing a fake marriage. We told him not to do that, following week we told him dassan dass ji had replied by email and also said not to do this. He started crying on the phone. But then he stopped calling us. And we would hear from our wife what fraud he was doing.
A few years passed the fake marriage all fell apart, he went to dubai legally and came back for sangat last december in which dassan dass ji declared him as a sant , as har ka deep. So he made his mistakes by follwoing desire and not listening to satguru ji, but he is dhan dhan dhan to have recovered. More than that we do not know how he got transformed or what happened to straighten him out again.
But we are thankful we were able to help him at the start, and he is way ahead of us now and we just pray to hold onto the feet of such bkessed souls so a sinner like us can be ferried across too.
Also all of the punjabi.sukhmani and writings were all done because of deepa ji. When we came back in 2007 website was all in english, we requested dassan dass ji we start translating into punjabi so deepa can understand, and the seva was started.
So dhan dhan dhan deepa ji, blessed soul, blessing this sangat.
