Satnaam
Rupy ji: Satnaam Ji
Dandaut Bandana Ji
We've had many discussions and teachings about Kaam from our SatGuru Ji but this fool remains somewhat unclear about Kaam within the constitution of marriage.
Kaam is acceptable within the sanctity of marriage, correct?
Is Kaam ever considered to be negative within the sanctity of marriage?
Thank you SatGuru Ji for taking time clarify this fools understanding.
Satnaam Ji
Gurpreeto:
Satnaam rupy ji, kaam is lust, lust is a strong desire for sex. Sex is not bad, kids come out of it god hs made it pleasurable so his creatures keep his creation going. It becomes destructive when the desire takes over,, when we are a slave to the desire. So simplest way is to stop desiring it from outsiders of your marriage, and in your marriage dont be a slave to the desire either. So baba ji says if it happens with ur spouse fine, enjoy and keep doing satnaam. But if it doesnt happen then also say fine and keep doing satnaam. Some people have alot if sexual energy, so to repress it is not good, so baba ji said if u need to lay with ur spouse 10 times a day, fine, do satnaam, but dont fantasise about others. Over time, kids come, and doing satnaam, the desire cools down, like a ripe fruit falls off the tree. Male and female menopause in middle age is all about that. Gurbani says that from teenage to 30s it is kaam that is the strongest thief in most people. In middle age ego and pride becomes strongest. God bless all
