You all are blessed with the divine powers to do simran trust love and devotion. But you may not be using these divine powers. That is the cause of failure.
You don't have to ask for Kirpa to SATGURU. SATGURU gives you everything the moment you meet him. The problem is how much can you absorb. How clean is your vessel to contain the Amrit.
That is where your commitment comes in to picture. How committed are you to the SATGURU.
And fortunately for you god has given you the power of commitment too. But you need to use this divine power as well.
Same way you have the power to trust. Don't you ? You have the divine power to love. Don't you ? You have the power to devote yourself. You have the power to dedicate yourself. Don't you ? All divine powers are contained within yourself. You just need to use them. When you do so you go higher.
Similarly you have the negative powers of desires and KAAM KRODH LOBH moh AHANKAAR as well. When you fall a prey to these negative powers you go down the drain.
These powers are easy and more tempting so you end up using them more and end up in scum.
Stop using these negative powers and start using divine powers. That is all you need to do.
Is it impossible to do ? Why can't you do it ? Any good reason ? Anybody please ?
Do you want to go down the drain and stay drenched in scum or you want to be in dargah ?
Never say you can't do bandgi.
That is why you are blessed with this human life so you can do Bhakti.
God helps those who help themselves.
Please stop making lame excuses. And give yourself 100%.

Dassan dass ji, dandauth ji, the reason we took so many years is because our bad habits, our lack of commitment to doing 2.5 hrs without missing a day, because of so many unfulfilled desires, being unhappy at work, at home, family tensions...all the negativity inside us and around us, used to pull us back down, and instead of doing more simran we used to just go back into our worldy comforts.
Finally when you came in 2010 we just realised it has been 8 yrs since you bkessed us and we are still crying in maya and we relaised we are going to have to do bhagti as you have said without fail and then we were so determined not to miss a day no matter what our mind or situstion around us, and then we stopped worrying about everyting around us and all yoir sat bachans came true for us, our 5 thieves coolwd down, oir heart opened meditsting on your charan kamal, we enterrd sach khand and you were standing their with maharaj ji waiting for us. (baba ji said that when you go to sach khand the first one waiting to welcome you is your guru, because he got there first.)
We are a fool for taking so long. We only dragged out our own pains.
All we would say to sangat jee, is to give daswandh of time and money and dont miss a day..no matter what..and dassan dass jis sat bachans will come true for you like they have for us.
In an ideal world Dassan Dass ji shouldn't really need to ask everyone for commitment because the price of naam is our head. Means no more self wisdom, no more thinking i will decide what i will do or not do. Please remember the price all the gurus paid by giving their whole life at the feet of their own satgurus inuding all bhgats and punj pyare.
The only choice in bhagti is made BEFORE we get the naam...
Dassan dass ji said to us, before we get naam, research the guru, ask all your questions, etc but once you go for it, then on getting gurparsaadi naam then place your head on the gurus feet and DONT LOOK UP IN EGO AGAIN.
In the old days this is why sants rarely gave naam to anyone except long term dedicated devotees and even thrn whispered it into their ear and kept it a secret.
However, with people now, we are so used to onky doing what we want and dont want, we think we can play the same game with our guru.
All we know is everyone who didnt truly give their head over lat 14 yrs is not in the sangat anymore..left because they wanted worldy desires more.
TELL YOUR OWN MIND THERE IS NO CHOICE ANY MORE, WE HAVE GIVEN OIR HEAD AND WILL ONLY DO GURMAT DEEDS AND DASWAND OF TIME AND MONEY.
We are still a fool everytime we let go of dassan dass jis sat bachans and slip back into wants and let maya in,
We are still a fool everytime we waste a breath in gossip and slander,
We are the biggest fool when we think I , ego, can sort out worldy problems and doubts satguru takes cares of our affairs and we are the greatest fool when we bring our guru into fulfilling our wants by praying for anything other than naam seva and bandagi, guru pulls us out of maya if we folllow with our heart.

Satguru cuts our chains, but the gurus sikh needs to stop doing bad dewds and thoughts.
