Maharaj said there's nothing wrong in being a king or a warrior, just be a sant first.  Defeat maya, make her lie at your feet first, otherwise she will eat you.  Defeat her first and she will serve you in your tasks, without defeating her first she will destroy you in whatever you do.

Its so true,now we understand why our worldy jobs or business attempts of other efforts have onky given us a headache.  We mistakenly thought that first we need to take care of our financial situation, then we can be free to do bhagti.  But in doing so we let maya in , greed for more and fear of losing it (moh) took over.  We got out prioroties the wrong way around.

We , the big fool, make all the mistakes in bhagti (baba ji said this to us last summer, but we only clicked what it meant today listening to the recording..9 mths later after making the mistakes and having desires then getting depressed at feeling like a failure!) 

Now we know better, do simran 24/7 with no wants and then maya cant come into our mind, that's what baba ji told us to do. If we are dukhi then do more simran, not less.
