To behold the Guru purifies these eyes,
to hear his divine words fills these ears with love,
to sit at his divine feet soothes my pain.
He places his hand upon my head
a waterfall cools the fire of desire.

and welcome waves

I smile like a flower
in the glorious sunshine
the dark night has passed
my Guru lifts my head
pressed upon his holy feet
and hugs me to his chest.

a complete surrender

who forgets himself
and merges into the one
