Only Ego Wants To Die

You may feel down, 

like there's nothing worth living for here,

you may and try doing simran

but feel you dont get anywhere,

you may feel you dont care

about anything that happens 

in and around you,

you may feel you are ready

to leave this world

feel like you've seen enough

and have nothing left to do,

you maybe dreaming

you'll be free 

in the next world,

but inner Guru reminds you

that ego goes with you

either beat it here

or beat it there

but until you beat it

you will always be down.

When you give up 

chasing the world,

then ego wants to die,

only ego feels down,

ony ego wants to

start again in 

another place

or in another realm.

When you have Satnaam

ego wants to run

and hide

and rise again

when you forget SatNaam.

Understand only ego

feels down,

only ego wants to die,

dont listen to ego,

carry on doing Simran.

Its better to give up

"I want, me and mine,"

serve others with love,

remember you are

just passing through

this place called Earth,

do ggod deeds

gather the dust of the Sant's feet,

become free here

you will become free forever.
