satnaam ji- dandauth bandhna ji
baba ji is basically teaching us that the spiritual teachers like our Gurus were servants of God
and the ways they taught to union with God became known as DHARAM. However, now
their paths have decayed into tribal groups, the word DHARAM gets translated as religion
and they become the one who is worshipped. The foolowers of religion then get trapped into past thinking
through stories of the past and worshipping past Gurus and forget to live in the moment
and find the saints of todaywho teach us the real UNION (dharam) today for us.
Then Baba ji teaches us that God runs our thoughts and is called our intuition by science.
He is our inner Eternal Guru and to get into tune with that we must overcome our five thieves, the worst
of which is EGO (Haumai). When we were born and for the next few years we were already pure, int tune
with god so were Gurmukh. But when we started thinking our "me and mine" eg "my mummy, my toys, I want this"
etc then EGO entered. The first time we said "ma mere- me mine" that was when ego entered. Then we lived our life under that
illusion. So if we are 40 years old when we meet out Guru and receive the Naam, then understand that we have almost 40
years of EGO to wipe clean. And to wipe clean our ego and correct our unpure thoughts and bad habits its going to take time.
So we need to keep fighting the 5 thieves by becoming aware of the thoughts that are coming into our mind and not acting upon
the bad ones, replacing with good thoughts and prayers to Satguru to help us.
