I have no good qualities

Sat Naam Ji,

Dandauth Bandhna Ji,

 

To be "nirgunniara" is good - it means your are saying you have no good qualities, which is the first step to wards God who is the NIRGUN - the one beyond all qualities.

 

Just do this ardas to Baba ji and dassan dass ji and all the Guru jis.:

 

 

This is also our ardas as we make so many mistakes and fail all the tests and beg the Baba ji Dassan Dass Ji forgive us again.

 

 

hum avgun bharay ik gun nahee

amrit chaad bikhaay bikh khaae

maya moh bharam bhay bhoolay

sut dharaa sio preet lagaaee

ik utum panth suniyo gur sangat

teh milanth jam traas mitaaee

Ik ardas bhaat keerat kee

gur raam daas rakho sarnaaee

 

I am full of misdeeds, I have no good qualities 

I have discarded Amrit (God within us) and eaten poison (mayas filth)

I am full of maya , attachments, doubts and mistakes,

I have heard of one supreme path known as the Guru's Sangat

by meeting them the fear of death departs.

The Poet Kirat does one Ardas:

O Guru Ram Das ji please keep me in your sanctuary.

 

So make this into your prayer to Baba ji and may you enter His sanctuary,

may your fears disappear, may you be blessed with Guru's Sangat,

may you fill with the presence of God - Amrit.
